Nice spot for tacos, burritos & enchiladas. Enjoyed my Cadillac Margarita.

This was our second time here in 2 weeks, last here last October, when it was much better. This is the very first restaurant we have been to that now charges a surcharge for use of a credit card. I don’t think that’s right. Margaritas are not as good as they were last year. Just not the same. Also, I had the Chili Verde, which has been my go to a la carte. There was a lot of fat in it this time, so I asked for it to be removed and give me something good. They removed the fat, but didn’t replace it with anything. Very disappointing. This was sadly probably my last time here.

This is a really fun restaurant on the North Shore. They have the front doors open and random native chickens wander in to eat the tortilla chip pieces that fall. I wouldn't call it the best Mexican I have ever had but it was definitely fun and the laid back vibe was cool. The food pricing was also decent for the ultra expensive Hawaii area.

I was weary after reading reviews, but was told by a friend that the margaritas are good. We stopped in before our dinner reservation at another restaurant to have apps and drinks. The nachos were enjoyed by everyone, and the margarita selection was impressive. I can speak to their food, but the drinks and nachos were great!

I realize coming from Colorado my family is spoiled and you can’t expect real Mexican food, but we decided to order basics that really shouldn’t be messed up (nachos, fajitas, taquitos) but it was Not good at all. It took 50 minutes to get our food. The food as bland and dry the salsa was a disappointment and the chips even needed salt. the staff was friendly the atmosphere was nice but this is not Mexican food, not even close.

It's okay, but wouldn't call it "homestyle". I do come from an area with pretty much the best Mexican food so my standards might be a bit high. The cheese enchilada was pretty good. Best thing about it all was my wait person, she was super nice, wish I had caught her name.

I will preface by saying that I prefer authentic Mexican food over white-washed “Mexican” food - which is unfortunately the impression I got from this place. The food was fine but lacked real flavor. The rice and beans were bland and my shrimp tacos were mostly lettuce. It’s a cute spot and the drinks look good, but better food can be found in other places.

The fish taco and shrimp taco were just ok. Not overly flavorful. Chips , salsa and guacamole were the same. I loved I. Texas the last 20 years and this does not strike me as authentic Mexican in any sense. The beer was cold and the staff was friendly.

Excelente food and drinks. Service amazing! Outdoor seating a big plus!

My family and I chose this restaurant because of the good ratings; but were extremely disappointed. There were 6 of us and we had 5 different dishes - all of them bland. Wondering whether the cook forgot all the spices that day. The restaurant charged for chips and salsa - which is the first time we have ever experienced this at a Mexican restaurant. One of us asked for salsa to put on the bland quesadillas - that would cost 3$! The wait was quite a bit longer than anticipated. The margarita was great; personnel friendly; and service was good.
