One of the best shrimp trucks we’ve ever tried in Hawaii.Garlic shrimp, lemon pepper shrimp and calamari were all fresh & delicious.Highly recommended
The sauces on the shrimp was delicious!!! So good, so fresh, plenty of garlic. I would come back in a heartbeat. Food came out quickly too. Line wasn't too long, and dedicated parking for $2 and waived if you're a hawaiian resident or military.
I came here to visit shrimp trucks and was not disappointed at all. It is worth coming here from downtown to have the yummy local food. This is right at the start of shrimp trucks. There are many more you can try. All lots come with $2 parking. It should not be missed by visitors.
A great food truck stop. We ate from food trucks on Oahu more often than sit-down restaurants, saved money and had as good or better food. And Big Wave was one of the best.

Big Wave Shrimp was our "go to" place during our recent stay at the North Shore. The shrimp are big and perfectly cooked and loaded with garlic. I especially appreciated that I could have them peel the shrimp. We enjoyed that the garlic shrimp plate also came with a salad and a pineapple wedge. We tried other trucks, but ended up making it to Big Wave three times during our vacation. It was just that good!
This was very very good. You did have to pay two dollars to park but the food was so worth it. It's a must go if you are in the area. We both got shrimp it was well cooked and came out fast.
The Spicey Shrimp were incredible. Very generous portion served with rice and salad. The service was amazing. We hardly sat down when we were called to pick up our food. The ladies were warm and friendly and we went back on another day to have the shrimp again. Mahola.?
Unfortunately this place was a big disappointment. My husband and ordered the spicy shrimp and garlic shrimp meal. The entire meal lacked taste, the rice was cold..but the salad was okay. Saw this place on Triple D and now I’m questioning Guys taste buds as our meal had no taste. I then thought, did they change the recipe? Probably not. The staff there were friendly but overall was a big disappointment having drove from Waikiki and had to pay $2 for parking ..would not return. If you are a person who likes seasoned food that you can taste the spice then this is not the establishment for you.
The best shrimp truck. We spoke to a local and asked where to stop. The shrimp was amazing. They were tender, not tough. The sauce was flavorful and the sides were done well.
