They were too busy to take phone orders. So I drove there to order. Only take out is available. I was so hopeful for this place. Unfortunately, food is expensive and doesn't taste good. My order came quickly.

Best of the best. I’m so impressed by every item in the dinner special. The bbq chicken and kalbee are so flavorful and full of charcoal aroma.

Taste of the food was great, meat jun, Chicken Katsu very flavorful w/o sauce, bbq beef, bbq chicken were tasty. If there's anything poor to say is the quantity little bit short and need bigger sauce.

My go to when in the area ! They have the best Korean BBQ on the island ! My fav is the bbq chicken & meatjun ! Mind you I never order bbq chicken cause most of the time it's really dry but not here ! It's juicy and the marinade is so ono!

Young's has the BEST meat juhn ... IMHO. My granddaughter loves their fish juhn. My wife says Young's has the best bibim kook soo... Bar none!!!

All I can say is BEST MEAT JUN in Hawaii. You will not get any better than this. Only place I think comes close is Kim Chee 3 but they also use a different sauce. You will be first welcomed by the sweetest young lady who owns the place and her husband. They have had this business for over 20 years. I am sure they will also return to dine in , in a few weeks. All thier Korean flavors are just intoxicating , you will only want more but alas your stomach will be full... so come back again real soon.

Absolutely the best kal bi, BBQ chicken, and meat jun marinade of all restaurants. The taste is fabulous.

Took us a minute to find the place. But was worth the hunt. Food was pretty good and the lady at the front helped with my ordering. Definitely going again.

After hearing a lot of things about Young’s I finally made a stop to grab a plate. Had the lunch special plate, which includes meat jun, bbq chic, and a fried mandoo. So many people hype up the meat jun at Young’s and honestly I have to disagree. It’s not horrible, but it’s not above average either. Sure it’s better than yummy’s food court grade, but that’s not hard to do. If you’re in the Aiea / Halawa area, cruise over to Soon’s kalbi in Salt Lake and try THE BEST meat jun on the island. The plate also included rice, kimchi and side dish veggies. The bean sprouts were good, the seaweed was overly sweetened and the kimchi was unremarkable. They get a lot of call in orders so the guy working the front is unable to provide very good service.Overall it’s ok. Decent food at an ok price.

Best kalbi and chicken katsu in Hawaii
