Visiting this place on a suggestion from a coworker who used to live in this area of Oahu. It is about 15-20 minutes away from Downtown by car and well worth the drive. A neighborhood bowling alley and restaurant serving up local favorites. On this night, Bobby, served us and made perfect suggestions. Our party ordered the ox tail soup, deep fried pork chops, kalbi short ribs, and tasty (fried) chicken. All of the items were fantastic. Bobby recommend we order the items “family style” in order for it to be shared. That was awesome as we were able to try all the specialities on the menu. To top it off, the lemon crunch cake was great too! Will definitely be back when visiting Hawaii again. Thanks Bobby for taking care of us tonight!
Wow! Garlic fries were one of the best I've ever had! Their French fries are really thin, and crispy, but still had potato in them, which is rare for thin and crispy french fries! The garlic was minced really fine and fresh, so it was a very legit garlic fry!(unlike the places that use garlic from a jar) it's got that garlic kick that I love so I put some on the burger, which was huge and tasty as well! My dad ordered the mixed plate with Tasty Chicken and Loco Moco! He said it was delicious, and the loco Moco meat and flavor was also very, very good!
Oh Yeah, this place delivers! You're probably going to have to wait for a table, but it will definitely be worth it. Great menu selection. Everything I have eaten here has been fresh and delicious. Oxtail soup was divine. I'm pretty sure this place has the best fried chicken I have ever eaten. Highly recommended!!!
One of my go-to restaurants located in Aiea Bowl. I love their oxtail soup, but had furikake ahi this time. They’re able to accommodate larger parties but call and make reservations in advance. The bar is very reasonable but you need to get your own drinks and you’re limited to one at a time.
Food was amazing!!!! Greatest I have ever tasted, in a bowling alley. The service wasn't so great. I couldn't have a drink while I was waiting for my food.. And there was plenty of seating. I was told that I needed to sit down get my order from there to have a drink, which I didn't really see the difference from sitting and ordering my food at the register. no organization once so ever. Again the food was excellent
Food is amazing there. And great service!
The food was awesome and the waiter was very polite and I enjoyed the dessert pumpkin crunch and I ordered the ahi furakaki I will definitely come back again I would recommend all my friends to go there
Restaurant inside the bowling alley and not bowling alley food. Make a reservation and enjoy the atmosphere of a bowling alley while enjoying really good food.
This place is popular. It is a bowling alley, so don’t get fancy ideas. Most people come for the desserts. They were my least favorite part of the meal (I think too much hype made it hard for the lemon crumble cake to live up to expectations). The food is good. Greasy, unhealthy, but also tasty and good. I ate here once and enjoyed the meal. But man did I crave a salad and fruit after to balance all the grease. It is worth a try
We traveled from Chicago and landed around noon. Could not check in until 4pm so found this place. Had to wait about 30 minutes. Well worth it. The food was amazing. Had the spicy shrimp and husband had Ox Tail soup. Both were great. Price is reasonable and I want to go back and order other things.
