Nice staff. Food was tasty, fresh, and timely. Prices are reasonable.

This is not you uppidy makamaka sushi spot. This is a locals sushi type spot, for quick, easy, fresh, and fair priced for the working class local people. I go with my wife and kids, when i want to get everyone sushi, and they ask pick what they want, charged a set price, by the color of the plate. No one really over eats, or wastes much of any food, because they order portions, not mass. So i really like it, and it really works for feeding a family of 6.

Super yummy, great little spot. It costs a tad more than what you'd expect at an outdated/older looking restaurant. Looks are deceiving and I can't wait till I come back. Service is fine.

This place used to be highly recommended, but when I checked it out, it wasn't worth the hype. I've eaten here a few times - pre-covid, during, and today. None of it has been great. Meh quality fish. Overpriced too. I'd rather go to Genki. Not only is it better quality, it's cheaper too. Or go to the sushi joint in Pearl City by the Walmart, Starbucks, and Panda Express. That place is awesome.

I've come here twice and I fully plan to go again. It's the dive bar of sushi but in a completely good way. Food is tasty and I enjoy trying new dishes because each one is the right size. The Goldilocks effect if you please. ?The photo I included is an order of gyoza. (I did not personally like the flavor of these. But there was nothing wrong with them at all.); a Dragon roll (I think that's the name of the one I chose.); and a spicy poke bowl (by far the best and my favorite!) of which is a really generous portion for the price.I treated myself to an order of ice cream with chocolate sauce for dessert (sorry, forgot to take a pic,) and that too was a generous helping and quality product. If you come here, you will enjoy it. Be warned, the parking lot is "cozy" so avoid driving a huge truck or SUV.

Purple plate give you the best value and quantity for you're money. Quality sushi ?

Great first experience, good quality salmon, generous portions. Will come back!

The sushi was delicious. The service was great. The waitresses were vert attentative. You just got to keep raising your hands and thry will come. I felt like I was a bit too close to the other customers though. There is a vaccine card check.

They took forever and did not give me what I wanted I had to go back to work so now I'm stuck with it. I over paid for the little but that I got back. No wonder my coworkers stopped coming here for lunch. Plenty of competitors that nearby that get your order right and prepare your food in a decent time frame.

Disappointed. After not visiting KuruKuru for a couple of years to see it operating a la cart instead of picking off the line fm a conveyor (that's its name in Japanese) makes it not worthwhile. I won't be back until it returns to its namesake & the reason it is ubiquitous to Japanese cuisine.
