I would love to know why- WHY this franchise doesn't let the team receive cash tips. It used to pooled together and split among team members just like cc tips.I wish I could leave 5 stars and leave it at that, BUT WHEN I TRY TO TIP THEM, to show them that I appreciate them, they HAVE to refuse it.Talking to you franchise operator:Is this the kind of establishment I should continue to support when you don't allow your hard working employees to be compensated for their prompt and friendly service?

Walked in to order a smoothie and Amanda the manager was yelling at her employees while I was in the store! Then she took my order very rudely while talking to a co worker about where the cockroach on the floor went. Never going back here! P.S. They found the cockroach!

Shoutout to the Tropical Smoothie Cafe on Ridgewalk Parkway. My smoothie exploded in my car and I went inside to ask for something to clean it up with. They had wet rags and paper towels and were so helpful, they even made me a new drink and gave me a coupon for a free one. Kindness goes a long way in this world and the staff at Tropical Smoothie were wonderful! P.S. the employees hate the new cups just as much as the customers, so if you have a problem please show the staff the same kindness they showed me. They don't get to choose the products that come from the manufacturer.

Best place in Town! The staff is like family. The smoothies and food are always delicious. The cafe is very clean and the drive thru is super convenient and fast!

I HATE to leave a one star review. This is a new location with so much opportunity to very profitable and I feel like the lack of management will soon have this location shut down. I'd love to stop here at least 3x a week but they shut off app ordering because they are under staffed. No worries I'll go through drive thru and never get rewards... I drive up, systems are always down, I need to order on the app but they are short ingredients. They NEVER have the oven on so don't even dream about ordering anything other than a smoothie before noon if they even have the ingredients. We have been told on several occasions they turn off app ordering because they are under staffed and can't handle the orders.....yet there's no one in line at 8am and they still have system issues and no ingredients. I'm leaving this review after at least 10 failed attempts to order before 9am. Truly disappointing. Don't leave your generic response I'm not going to respond. Fix it. MANAGEMENT

NEEDS NEW MANAGEMENT!I'm giving the location a 5 star only because I feel so sorry for the employees, and I know they feel bad when they get poor scores. I hope that someone higher up than the regional level (because region is complacent) on the Tropical Smoothie Executive Management sees this. These kids are completely left hanging with no support or direction, trying to do the best they can with little or no experience. Poor or no training, not enough supplies to fulfill orders (ie, no straws, lids, even cups), no planning whatsoever. This place is like "Lord of the Flies"...these poor kids are trying to figure things out as they go and doing the best they can without an engaged manager.

These guys were super slammed and still got my food to me on time! Very hardworking and I witnessed them deal with an upset customer in a very professional manner! Impressed with these workers!

First few times we went were good, lately things are missing. This time was the most forgotten in one order. Order 2 Thai chicken salads. Dressings were half full with no lids. And there was no chicken. Ordered 2 smoothies with splenda and they didn't add it so the smoothies were bland. That's lot to forget on a 4 item ticket that's over $26.

I placed an order online for pick up and received a confirmation email and pick up time only to arrive to a dark closed store. No sign about closing early or anything. So now I’ve been charged for food that I don’t have. No answer from the store or the customer service number. We have always loved this restaurant and have been frequent customers but this lack of communication is simply unacceptable. I can understand being understaffed or other issues causing the store to be forced to close earlier than usual but if that’s the case then online orders should not be accepted and it needs to be communicated to your customers.Update: I called the store this morning and was told they don’t know how to do refunds!

I walked in and wasn't greeted, ok. I stand at the register looking at the menu after 5 minutes the young lady at the front was wiping up things she stops and checks her phone then continues to wipe up. Another young lady comes from the back looks at me and walks to the young lady assisting with the drive thru window. I ask is anyone going to help me and the 1st young lady says she's training and doesn't know how to use the register. She proceeds to tell the 2nd young lady that I haven't ordered. She walks to the back again. I walked out ?. I have never eaten from the franchise and was interested in trying out their food. Please help train the staff.
