We sat at a booth for 15 minutes before giving up and moving to the drive thru where we were still ignored. We finally pulled up to the window to order and saw at least 4 people inside just standing around. One of them opened the window and asked very rudely what we were doing. We said we wanted to order. She asked another employee to take our order, but the other employee said no. She finally took our order, only half-listening to us. We got our food which was missing an entire meal. We assumed it was still being cooked so we continued waiting. Another employee opened the window and asked why we were still there. We told her and she acted like we were lying, and demanded to see our receipt. We showed her and she finally got our missing food. This all took a total of over half an hour. We saw at least five other customers wait, give up, and leave from the drive thru line. This is the second time we went to this location, and we had a terrible experience both times. They don’t answer the buttons. They’re just standing around doing nothing. I have no idea who allows them to do this. When I go to work, I do my job. It’s not difficult. Absolutely unacceptable.
The food is fine and the people are friendly but it took 55 minutes to get three cheeseburger meals and that's not acceptable. We would have canceled our order if there had been any way to contact the people inside, but there wasn't so we waited and there went our lunch break. I wish I had looked at the recent reviews ahead of time and not just the average rating. I won't make this mistake again.
Horrible Experience. I took us 40 minutes to be able to order our food. That was after pulling up to multiple speakers without anyone even saying we will be with you in a moment. Then the drive thru had a sign taped to it saying it was out of order. Finally we parked and went up to the walk in speaker. Finally someone came out. It was the manager and she was apologizing and stated that she had four trainees in the kitchen. So, it took us another 25 min to get our food. The picnic tables were filthy. I asked for something to wipe them down but the manager didn’t remember until after our food was brought to the table. Luckily I had antibacterial wipes in my glove box and had already wiped the table down. Other customers were angry and waiting. Some were pulling off. One of the gentlemen in the kitchen was on his cell phone. He even came outside on his cell phone in front of a lot of angry customers that had been waiting as long as we had for service. I understand that this may not have been the managers fault but her bosses obviously need to learn a thing or two about customer service and running a business. Very disappointed! I emailed my complaint to the corporate email and the generic response I received was, “ We apologize. Thank you for your feedback. We take these incidents seriously.” But nothing further. If they are such short staffed then why aren’t the bosses rolling up their sleeves and getting to work to ensure good customer service or at least fairly decent customer service?!
Heather needs to be trained better and make a public apology for the way she has mistreated several customers. She is running this business in the ground and running all the customers away in the process. My family travels a lot due to our ministry and we have ordered food from locations in several different cities and states this location has been the worst experience we have ever experienced. Most experiences that haven’t been exactly the best, the staff was respectful and courteous to their customers but not this location. Culver’s is across the street and definitely worth the wait as their employees are far better trained and much more respectful to their customers. Our family has no intentions whatsoever on returning to this location. We made that decision once they chose to lie to everyone and yell at the customers.
Terrible, but terrible like Charles Barkley says it. First the drive thru was not working, then most of the stalls did not work either. It took 15 minutes to place an order then another 30 to get it. Then they got our order wrong. The people at the place were not nice about it. When we got home my sons chicken nuggets were hard as rocks even though they were still hot. Poor quality food and terrible service. Don’t go there, buy food elsewhere.
This location let myself and family sit at the speaker for 25 minutes before saying they were closed 40 minutes early. I then took a moment to read the previous reviews and unfortunately whoever owns this location needs to be reminded that we won't tolerate this type of service. There's too many options to tolerate this type of service. Avoid at all coats.
If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Drove 20 miles to this location as its the nearest sonic. Gave up on this place years ago but thought I would try it again for the batter shakes. Sat at the order parking slot for 20 minutes to then have an employee come to my car and let me know it’s drive through service only today. Then sat in line for another 15 minutes to finally get up to the order window and be told they are out of burgers, all buns, and ice cream - so basically that eliminates 90% of their menu. It’s 8pm on a Monday. I’m shocked sonic is okay with such poor service and management of their restaurants and can’t imagine they will be in business much longer. I will never be returning.
I've been waiting nearly half an hour to pick up a Doordash order. 10 minutes at a kiosk with no answer, go to the drive thru and tell them I'm here for the order, another 20 minutes waiting only for them to tell me to pull forward.2 people behind me have left the drive thru line without food.Edit: 3 people have now left without food while I'm still waiting.Edit: Numbers 4 and 5 just drove off after no one answered at the drive thru speaker.Edit: Up to 7 now! I don't know why they haven't just closed early if they're having problems like this.
We waited in line for 25 minutes before our order was taken. Then the girl taking the order couldn't be understood. And they were out of onion rings and she yelled it out. Then it took another 15 minutes to get our order. Also, they got our order wrong, the fries and tater tots tasted like they were weeks old I won't be back!
I put in a basic $16 order in the drive through. Two #1s with Tatter Tots, no onions on one cheese burger, a Cherry Lemonade and a regular lemonade. The wait was what it was, and the food is typically good here, but when I got home one burger was, as follows : a rock-hard stale bun, two burger patties and melted cheese that had long-since gone cold. No other fixing, no sauce, nothing, just a dry plain stale burger. Neither my husband nor I ate it, just straight to the trash. They basically stole my money and I never got my burger. I honestly don't know what to do about it, I needed to go back to work and just got tater tots and a cherry lemonade for $8. How do you just throw a 7 hour old cheese burger into a bag of food and hand it to someone with a straight face?
