Minus stars for order having multiple issues that had to be corrected from what we ordered. Plus stars for good food and drinks. The Good:The drinks are alcoholic and quite tasty, definitely recommend. Their frozen drinks seem to not be premade either which is great. Food is not the best but a good bit above average. The Meh:Service is hit and miss on speed, but is polite and kind. The Bad:Expect to have to correct issues with your order. We ordered frozen margaritas and one was delivered on the rocks. We ordered chips and salsa with our food and instead of coming out before the food it just never came.

Service was great but I'm not really a fan of the food. The chilaquiles were mostly chip and dip with a little egg and meat - maybe one egg? For the price, I thought it was not worth it. I practically paid for chips with a little topping of egg and some meat. Loved the spicy sauce though. Drinks were okay and moderately priced. I've had some of the other menu items and it was doable. Nothing that I would rush back to. Our waitress was fantastic and took care of us very well! Great service for sure!

We took a leisurely drive to Woodstock on a late summer afternoon along quiet country roads through Milton and lower Cherokee County avoiding the hustle and bustle of Rte. 92 (Holcomb Bridge, Crossville, and Woodstock Rds.). The ride was pleasurable and we were pleasantly surprised at the new development of the downtown area. It had boutique shops, restaurants, pocket parks on both sides of the railroad tracks that run through the center of town. The toughest thing was trying to find parking at 6:00 PM on a mid-week evening. We walked into Pure Taqueria and only had to wait ten minutes for seating even though we were as party of nine. Upon being seated, we ordered libations that varied from tequila cocktails, to cervezas and soft drinks. These were accompanied by the best fried and delicately salted taco chips I have ever had. They were crisp and NOT greasy. The chips came with both rioja and verde salsa sauces that had appropriate heat. Also, there was a combo of bowls filled with hot melted queso and pico de gallo. While munching away on these tasty morsels we ordered. Miriam had the ColiflorOportobello - a cumin & turmeric roasted cauliflower, cilantro grilled portobello mushroom, pumpkin seed pesto, smoked cashew salsa and tacos. Robin had the Tres Cerviches: The plate contained shrimp, fish and octopus cerviche cooked in lime and orange juice and served with a pico de gallo made from tomatoes, red onions, celery and cilantro. On the plate was taco chips and fried plantains. Marley had the Torta Cubana: a ciabatta roll stuffed with Black Forest ham, braised pork, Pepperjack cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickle, guacamole, refried beans and chipotle mayo. Jerry ordered the Camarones a la Parilla: this dish really looked good. The base was grilled chile-crusted shrimp served on corn maza cakes with sides of guacamole, pico de gallo, and charred tomatillo salsa. I was a succor for the tried and true Haburguesa Sedgewick: This dish started out with an all-natural beef burger topped with guacamole, jalapeno, refried beans, lettuce, tomato, chipotle mayo, pickle, poblano pepper, caramelized onions, Pepperjack cheese, bacon served on a brioche bun. I must admit, it was pretty good. The burger was served with thin French fries cooked in truffle oil and sprinkled with sea salt with a side of delicious Siracha mayo. Cole had the Puerco al Pastor: This dish consisted of marinate and sauteed pork, pineapple, onion, Chihuahua cheese, cilantro, chile de arbol salsa and flour tacos. It looked great and tasted even better. Casey is totally chicken all of the time. Anyone could have predicted his order. Pollo: chipotle chicken, diced onion, cilantro, Mexicana salsa and served on hand-made corn tortillas with vegan green cilantro rice, and a choice of beans. Rest assured that no one left the table hungry. There was very little left on anyone’s plate even though servings were very large. Woodstock has been made into a destination location. You will come to appreciate the town and its vast array of restaurants even more. We had a great time at Pure. You will too.

This place is has wonderful food and a great atmosphere for any night out! Talk about the delicious drinks too, I had a blackberry margarita and my boyfriend a raspberry marg. both delicious! We got the tres ceviches and they were all fresh and delicious with one shrimp, one fish, and one octopus,we both enjoyed them but the fish was out of this world packed with flavor! We got combo fajitas to share with extra tortillas and we still took some home! If your looking for great portions, fair prices, wonderful service, flavorful food, and jazzy drinks... this is the spot!

Great margarita and taco options! I highly recommend the fried shrimp tacos. Also the guac was awesome and complimented the tacos perfectly. If there are seats available on the rooftop deck definitely grab them, there is shade and numerous fans to keep you cool.

Cute little Mexican inspired food joint in the heart of downtown Woodstock. We ate on the upstairs patio which is open seating with full service to the kitchen as well. The skinny margarita packed a powerful punch, the Torta was enormous and filling, the house made chips and salsas were SOOO good too. Food is a bit on the pricey side with most options being $15+ but you do get good portions. Overall the staff was friendly and attentive even on a busy Friday afternoon!

Great service! The drinks were good, the cheese dip was good, and the tacos would have been better if they were on flour tortillas. The option to change from corn to flour would be nice. Overall, a good exp.

Great vibes! Weather was beautiful which made the experience that much more cool. Open windows and friendly staff! Allie was our server and she was so nice and helpful in helping me pick out a beer!!

Great atmosphere with music but food was disappointing. I had to send the calamari back I think it was spoiled the food comes out quickly so it must be pre-prepared my friends food was also bad. I would come here for chips and salsa and drinks but might be disappointed in entrées

This is not a modernized nor Americanized taco! These are authentic and genuinely delicious! I had the Tacos al Pastor, knowing almost nobody gets them right (yeah even at the smallest authentic Mexican taco places), and hands down these were better than almost anyone you put them against, they were perfect! The tacos even had the pineapple chunks! I definitely recommend this location great tacos, guacamole, ambience, and an awesome rooftop bar!?
