Never in my life have I experienced such nasty, aggressive, and abusive treatment from their staff. When I arrived at the store there were already four cars holding after the drive through waiting for their orders. When I placed my order I simply asked for fresh fries. In the past the fries were always cold. Boy, you would have thought that I asked them to give up their first born child. The staff and the manager were simply awful. The managers attitude clearly showed distain. She literally yelled at me through the speaker. When I arrived at the window you could see the racial tension in her eyes. She asked me to pull forward and wait for the fries when she already had four other customers waiting for their drive-through orders. It made it very hard to pull past all the customers waiting. The staff at this Popeyes need to all be fired, rehired, and trained in proper customer service etiquette. Why can’t you just serve chicken with a smile? The ONLY reason I’m giving them 2 stars is because I like their chicken. The staff just suck!
I stopped by on a Sunday a few weeks ago. I placed my order in the drive thru and was asked to pull into a parking spot because they were running behind on chicken. TWENTY minutes later, I had to leave without any food because I was running late.So I gave them a second chance tonight and I thought that it couldn't be any worse... I stand corrected. First of all, I ordered a 5 piece tender meal with Mac n Cheese. When it came to the drink, I was informed that the cups were delivered, so they were not serving drink. I understand with the supply chain issue; but then why was I charged full price for the meal when I didn't get everything that comes in the meal? Second, when I pulled to the window, it was obvious the lady working it didn't want to be there. She was more worried about being on her phone than helping customers. When I received my food, I noticed that I didn't receive any utensils or napkins to eat with. How am I supposed to eat Mac n Cheese without a spoon or fork? Lastly, when I opened my box, they didn't even get my order correct. I received a 2 piece dark meat meal. That was not what I ordered.The Popeye's is in a great location, but you can tell the people working there don't care about the customers at all.
Terrible experience at at Popeye's today. Drive-through line wait time 20 plus minutes. No buns, so no sandwiches could be ordered. We ordered chicken fingers and a kid meal mac n cheese meal. No recipts available. Was asked to pull up and wait by trash can, and they'd bring it out. No napkins or utensils. Heavy sigh.
I asked for spicy and was told there was a 15 min wait. When I reached the window my order was ready and I was assured I had spicy chicken. When I get home I realized I was given one piece of spicy and the other was original. This was done on purpose. The drive they employees lied to me. This is not the first time this has happened.
I was excited when Popeyes was coming to the area. Had no idea that it was going to be a complete dumpster fire. Every time I have gone, I have regretted it, mainly due to poor customer service. I didn't go back for almost a year after waiting in line for 45 minutes when there were only 8 cars in the drive through. Went there tonight to pick up dinner. First time through, the order was wrong and I had to get it remade. Got home, the Sprite I ordered for my daughter had no syrup and tasted like straight seltzer water. Had to dump it down the drain. I am done giving this restaurant second chances. Absolutely pathetic.
I’m not sure why so many have had bad experiences at this location, but my family enjoyed our recent visit. The manager seemed short staffed (as most places are), but had a great attitude. She was very patient with her team, and seemed to care about our order. The food came out fast, and it was very good. We’ll definitely be back. My only critique would be that a better effort needs to be made, in cleaning the tables down.
Let me start by saying, "I love that chicken from Popeyes" but I am never going back because I am done. The first time I went to the Woodstock GA location was around 9pm and the website said they were open till 11pm. We sat in line for 20 minutes and there were 5 cars ahead of us. Then one of the customers came around the store and told us they had been told the store was closed by the one lady in the store.Ok labor crisis/ shortage. Whatever. The second time I tried this location I was asked to wait when there was no one ahead of me in line . I waited 12 minutes for her to come back to take my order. When I started giving her my order she made me start over with my order 5 times only to be informed they were out of what I was ordering. I left angry and without food. Third times a charm,so they say, but disappointed one again. I actually left with food this time but asked for spices tenders with Mac n cheese and Dr Pepper. Was told they were out of Dr pepper also ordered a chicken sandwich with Mac n cheese then there told we had to pay cash in the drive thru or come in to pay by card. Got no receipt no spicy tenders, mashed potatoes, and a spicy chicken sandwich. The staff need to be better trained or fired and start over from scratch. Every time I have left utterly disappointed and disgusted at the incompetence. If you are fortunate enough to get what you ask for and find an employee competent to make it happen n they have great food, but not worth the disappointment.
This Popeye’s is the worst. Even though there were only two cars ahead of me I had to wait for the cashier who was also expediting food to take my order, about 5 minutes. Once I can get to the window my order is wrong. I ordered blackened strips meal and got mild fried wings. This is exactly how it was keyed so the cook made how it was keyed. Thankfully she gave me a straw but after checking my order, which I always do now before driving off, I noticed the error on the strips. There were also no napkins, a fork, or honey mustard in the bag. The bag was as big as a shopping bag by the way. Seemed odd for such a small box of food. The food was cold after I tried to eat it 5 minutes later. Also other workers just standing there, barely moving. One had his pants so low that his underwear and but were hanging out. Very poorly managed and run Popeyes. I won’t be back. I’m leaving a review here because the online site to give feedback found on the receipt does not work. Also when you go to the specific webpage for this location there is no link below as they direct you to. Anyways, I’m sure other restaurants near there like Chick Fil A or Chipotle will be glad to get my business. It’s funny too. The Chipotle which is next door had 10-15 cars pass me as I waited behind two cars to receive my order. Nobody cares at Popeyes so I also choose not to go there anymore.
Good chicken, love the biscuits. Wanted to try the Mac n cheese......this is what we got. Thats a serving? Ordered 2 sides and rice n beans, they all had that small amount in the cup. Thats crazy
I ordered on the app, went for pickup, started to examine bag contents and was assured everything was in there. I got home and was missing my sandwich. I tried calling since they offer delivery to ask them to bring me one. I called a dozen times. After 10 rings it says to enter your code. Several times they picked up and immediately hung up. My son went down to get my sandwich and the pictures are what was sent back. Most of the breading was gone and most of what was there fell completely off. I'm beyond upset and will NEVER visit this location again. I get that they along with most businesses have employee shortage problems, but to send that sandwich to an already unhappy customer is inexcusable.
