First time ever eating here. The food was good, however there were dirty tables. When we placed our order the counter was dirty. We went to find a table. About 6 were occupied. Most were covered with dirty plates. The ones that did not have plates had not been wiped down. Went to get a refill. I noticed everyone in the back talking. At this point only 2 tables were occupied. I did not see anyone cleaning the entire time but saw 6 to 8 in the back just hanging out.
Have always come and got spud olé. At ordering the guy took order I asked if he knew what it was and he said yes. I asked for extra jalapeños. When he brought it to table it was just cheese and sour cream and bacon - a different spud. So I said oh this is the wrong one. It’s the one that has chili and cheese with jalapeños. He said oh I’m sorry that’s right let me get it. When he came back he said I’m sorry we can only do that one small so we did a combo and gave you a salad. If they can make the half why wouldn’t they make a whole? And I don’t get to choose the side? Wouldn’t they just say go ask what she wants for the other part of pick 2/combo?I’ve been in many times and occasionally they’ll have someone who has to ask what is a spud olé. I’ve often said can you still do it to which they said of course it’s no problem. They could tell me they don’t do it anymore and would be fine. There was just no communication and the only reason we went was for a spud olé or else I would chose another place.
Ate almost all of my salad then noticed this hair in it. Not hard to be hygienic in a restaurant at all - this place clearly isn’t.
I normally would state that the food is good but I caught the worst food born bacteria food poisoning that put me in the hospital for a week. The manager said thats impossible and Travis would handle it the GM but that never happened. The leftovers were also teated in a lab to verify. They stated they make everything fresh daily and I know sauerkraut is not mentally not is corned beef nor is cheese so theynlost credibility right away. One step away from a lawsuit
One of my favorite go-tos on a regular basis. Tasty food, comfortable casual dining room setting, and good service.
Chicken salad is OK, but could definitely be improved. Here are my tips for improvement,-Less mayo-Less cranberries-More celery-More pecans or walnuts whichever one you useIMO if these guidelines are followed it will be in my top 10 favorite chicken salads.Great service also fast and efficient.
Going in over an hour before closing. Was told it had to be to go even though we were on motorcycles
Excellent quality food. Strawberry lemonade was great. They offered to refill my cup on the way out.
I eat lunch here almost once a week and I really enjoy the salted Carmel cookie until one day it was gone and to never return. I don’t eat lunch here as often anymore without that cookie. There is a number of people including myself that would like to see that cookie come back.
Instructions not followed on order. On Carryout item left out. Bread on sandwhich stale. Mac and cheese only halfway filled. I have given this store multiple chances. Very poorly run store from it's opening 2 years ago .Store will go out of business soon. Poor management is what it comes down to has to why it's so bad. STAY AWAY and spend money somewhere else .
