The food itself is good and most of the time the staff is on top of it. Like all of us they are human and make errors here or there but try to handle them quickly. This location is pretty good about service and fixing any issues that occur which they are not many to count. Only twice in many years have I had a steak come out over or under cooked.
I met a client for dinner at the woodstock longhorn, Ive frequented many long horns, esp in my home town of savannah ga, and never had nothing but a 5 star experince. This visit started with a (15) min wait which turned into 40, I can overlook that, wait staff was good, the ribeye was the worst, tough, ordered med came out basically raw, sent it back came back charred, and when came back sent same fries out with it, ice cold.Just not acceptable, even in peak hours!
When I review a restaurant I tend to score it with stars based on my expectations and versus other restaurants of similar quality. I want to be clear this place is no Chops or Kevin Rathbun's but it is right down the street, the prices are fair if not low, the output of the kitchen is consistent and the service is more than adequate, sometimes even great, but never bad. I'll often eat a quick lunch at the bar. At this most recent visit I was in a hurry and the server was extremely understanding and polite and got us out of there very efficiently. This particular location is the best Longhorn I have been to both for food and service. They are also very accommodating of special requests and dietary restrictions and rarely if ever make mistakes on those special requests, meaning there must be strong communication between the wait staff and the kitchen, which I feel is fairly rare at a chain restaurant. If you are hungry for steak, parmesan crusted chicken, or a good burger this is a good place to go. If you want a more upscale experience or a finer filet climb the hill to Tuscany, just depends on your wallet and your mood.
We ordered curbside take out and it was great. Order was ready when I arrived and everything was correct. The food was excellent. I had the burger, ? yum. It was one of the best burgers I have had in a long time. Juicy and cooked to perfection. The fries are delicious. My daughter ordered steak, she raved about it and ate every bite. She had mashed potatoes and broccoli ?, said the broccoli was thr best she has ever had. Great job Longhorns!
The side salad and fresh bread were the highlight of my meal. My chicken entree came out cold so I asked the waitress to heat it up- my table was done eating by the time my waitress came back to see if everything was okay. I reminded her about the chicken. She returned to the table with our bill (my chicken taken off which I was thankful for) she had brought my dinner out in a to go box since it was obvious we had waited so long and were ready to go. When I got home my chicken was undercooked and pink inside...
We had a great experience tonight. Our 2 steaks were cooked perfectly and Bobby was our server and he was fantastic! Everyone was very nice and we will return soon.
I usually love this restaurant but they definitely disappointed us tonight . We got longhorn takeout from this location for my birthday dinner and 2 of my family members weren’t able to eat their food because it was still raw after they ordered their steaks to be cooked to medium temperature. I still love y’all,, just sad that we paid so much money for food and ended up having to throw half of it out:(
Very disappointing steak was so salty it was gritty and inedible. We asked for a booth when being seated the hostess told us there would be a wait if we wanted a booth and literally the next guests were seated in a booth minutes after we were seated. The waiter was excellent.
We went in on a Tuesday night parking lot was full. Yet once we walked in we were told it was gong to be a 25 minute wait and they text you once your table is ready for you.The service and everything about this Long Horn in woodstock was just amazing. The staff was friendly and always smiling to the customers.
Delicious and always great food for the money! Our waitress was funny and very personable. Highly recommend this location!
