Tonight was our second visit. Phenomenal restaurant. Service is excellent. I had the General Tso’ Chicken served with broccoli, carrots and zucchini. You have a choice of degrees of hot ranging from 1 to 5 with 5 being the hottest. It was superb. My wife has Sushi and a Shrimp Hibachi which was excellent. Easily the best Asian restaurant we have visited since moving to Woodstock two years ago. Will definitely make this a go to restaurant.
If I could give it 0 Stars I would!!! My husband ordered "TO GO" food! He works in the restaurant industry and he ALWAYS Tips! He signed the receipt and left a cash tip on the bar when he paid. He put on the "Cash" on the tip part of the credit card receipt. The lady had walked away while he was signing. When he came back for his food, she was saying, "You leave no tip! You say cash, you leave no tip!!!" And had the guts to try not to give him his food he PAID for and Did Leave a tip even though he didn't have to! AND, IT WAS A GOOD TIP! $10 ON TO-GO FOOD! YOU CANNOT KEEP SOMEONE'S FOOD THAT THEY PAID FOR AND DEMAND A TIP! It's insane!!! We will NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!!!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!! Food was a lot better when they 1st opened!TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!!
I've always enjoyed the food here, take out and dine in, I made sure to stop in for dinner on our 1st visit back in 6mnths. We had the tempura sampler and avocado salad for the first time and it was amazing. The sushi rolls never disappoint, not to forget the exceptional service each and every time. The best Asian spot in the area for me
The food here is delicious! The drinks are amazing. The customer service is worth the tip. I will return every time I am in the area.

It was our first time at Izumi and we really enjoyed. Our server was courteous and very attentive and friendly. Edamame appetizer was perfectly steamed and salted. I had a spicy tuna roll with screaming sauce (just the right amount of spicy) and Hubby had candy crush roll. The food was worth returning for….all-in-all a very pleasant experience.
I usually write pretty long and in-depth reviews. This is one of the rare instances where I won't. Izumi is simply a great restaurant with awesome food, good atmosphere, and attentive staff. Five enthusiastic stars.
Great service. Fantastic food. We go out of our way to get sushi here and always get the coconut soup. All around great experience.
I am not sure what was in my miso soup, but it appeared to be a nasty, slimy mucusy mass of saliva and phlegm. I am too disgusted to explain any further.
It was decent sushi. Small for the price, I am use to having smaller piece but with top quality fresh fish but this fish was super fresh. The wait staff was awesome. I'd give it another go for their non sushi dishes. Their lychee martini was bomb.
