Ipps is our go-to place to come in anytime we feel like getting any Italian food.We have been to many places in Italy, and this place hands down wins it...We have tried so many things on the menu...their bread is to die for, the chicken wings perfection, the bruschetta is out of this world!Decided to try the cannelloni and it was yummy...could taste the shrimp, the crab, the lobster sauce..just touched my taste buds the right way.Husband tried the special for the day...the beef medallions and they were perfect. The dessert for the day had lot of choices and we picked the swiss roll..and that was amazement as well! Will be back soon!
First off, was very surprised to get in so fast on a weekend night during a bigger town event. The pastas and pizzas were great but the garlic rolls were to die for. Other restaurants charge for theirs and you bring them out when the plate gets emptied.Only had part of the family so we will be back.
I have been to Ipps several.times over the last few months or so and have had only 1 poor experience..I like sitting on the patio at twilight. The garlic rolls are wonderful..
Ipps Woodstock - The service is nice, the staff is very friendly. The food is very good: Calamari can be cut a bit thinner, the sauce is delicious, the garlic rolls and sauce to die for, the pizza need to be thinner as well a bit chunky. I enjoyed most of everything, nice laid back ambiance, cute patio except for the restroom, quite disgusting, dirty, old, needs a full renovation. Also the place is not very well kept, it needs some TLC. The outside is a bit dirty and no planters so a bit ugly. But, I will go back and enjoy the food. I have high standards and to get my five stars the place really need TLC.
Food was amazing! We got the Lasagna and baked ziti and Bruschetta as an appetizer, and it was the best Italian food I've ever gotten. Loved the atmosphere too. The service was amazing, our server Ainsley was awesome! Very attentive and very friendly. I noticed the hostess was bussing tables, so I asked her name, I never saw a hostess working that hard not only seating but bussing tables, her name was Emma. The manager Jamaica came over to see how everything was, she was super nice, and we talked for a bit, she really seems to adore her co-workers. I know someone complained about there being a lot of teenagers working there, which even our server was one, but I've never seen so many young adults and teens working their butt off. Will DEFINITELY go back!
I have eaten at Ipp's in Roswell and loved it. When my friend and colleague suggested Ipp's in Woodstock, I eagerly agreed. It is located in downtown Woodstock (a charming small town outside Atlanta) in an old house. There is free parking in back but the parking lot could use some work. It is rough. There is also some free parking on the street but it is on the main street in the city. The iced tea tasted like rusty, brown tap water and was not good at all. However, the garlic/olive oil rolls served hot are always good. This meal was no exception. I ordered the Italian salad filled with lots of antipasti ingredients. It was too large to finish so I took rolls and salad home to my wife. (She loved it.) My friend had the eggplant dish without pasta. He said it was good and it looked delicious. Throughout the meal the service was spotty with our waitstaff person disappearing for large amounts of time causing us to have to ask other servers for salt or water refills. The server needs training and although I understand personnel shortages today, staff training needs to be done at many establishments. Overall, I still give Ipp's a 4 star but they could use some work in several areas. I will go back again because of the food.
Great meal was pleasantly surprised. We split a large pizza for 3 adults and it was only $18 total as we all got water. When you add in the free rolls it was plenty of food. It will def be my go to place when in Woodstock. It also seemed to be a local type place.
We ordered Pizza and chicken parmigiana on Uber Eats priority. It was supposed to be delivered at 4:05pm and the driver messaged us a 4:06p and stated that the food wasn’t ready and it would be 20 more minutes. He messaged at 4:36p stating he was on the way and was just handed the food. When it reached us 10 min later, the food was very cold and had to be reheated. I found a blond or white hair in my chicken parmigiana, pictured. (My husband and I have dark hair) We called numerous times and can’t get anyone from management on the phone.
Took us about an hour to get there because of the distance from the city of Atlanta and the traffic was another delayed but it was worth the drive. Parking is kind of interesting but we parked and got to the restaurant and waited for about 30 mins then the fun began lol.The food was great and the service was awesome! The Veal Parmigiana I had was yummy.
Great food reasonably priced. Good portionsThe seafood/lobster soup was amazing and my side arugula salad with nuts. For the main entre I had the cod topped also with arugula and tomatoes over angel hair pasta. I went there for my birthday and was surprised with a birthday canoli. Highly recommend. If you go around 6pm or a little earlier, there's little wait for a table.
