Fantastic home cooking meat and 2 or meat and 3 options. Lots of vegetables and meats to choose from. Some change daily and there are staples which are consistent from day to day. I got the 4 vegetable plate and every selection was amazing! Seating inside inches tables, booths & large group size tables and there's also a few tables outside.
Cucumber salad is amazing. Service is good most of the time. Asked for pickles with my meal I never got them. Sometimes servers drop off food and never come back to see if you are ok. But food is always amazing.

Great food and great service!! Chicken livers were delicious and my wife had the roast pork with rice and green beans! Closed on Monday's now due to shortage of staff.
I very much enjoy the food here, but what rubbed me the wrong way is seeing how the staff members treated one another. I had a lovely hostess and server but seeing their high ups such as the manager/owner treat them as if they are absolute children.. was disgusting. It breaks my heart to see hard workers being treated in such a manner especially when they are simply doing their best. As a manager of a small business this isn’t acceptable and I wouldn’t dare to speak to my employees in such a way as what I overheard during my last visit.
One of the closest places you'll find to a country mom 'n pop eatery in a metropolitan area. The only thing missing is the liar's table, where old men (and women) sit around, taking up space, drinking coffee and trading insults with the wait staff. Really a great place with a nice variety of meals to choose from.
How can you make fried livers taste bad! Burnt roll (didn’t bother to tell me the biscuit i ordered wasn’t coming) so i got a burnt roll instead Burnt livers so dry I couldn’t eat them. Ordered limas, got butter beans (asked waitress and was told thats what they are calling limas now?) Baked potato tasted like leftovers. Waitress was so Flip and basically said sorry as in i don't care. No, “can I get you something else”! Just terrible Food and service.
The food here always pleases. We had the crabcakes and pulled pork specials today. The fried okra is served in a homemade style and is the best I have ever had. Crabcakes are large and perfectly done as was the pork. We also had the yellow rice and mac & cheese. Both were great. Portions are on the large side so come hungry because you will be going home satisfied. We'll be back. Highly recommend.
The service was pretty good. However, the food was mediocre. No seasoning and seemed to be all frozen and canned items used. Don’t think I’ll be coming back. I can cook better at home.
