I order 1/2 slab ribs and they were very tough. It was take out so I added more BBQ sauce and nuked them in microwave. Sides? Baked beans and mac-n-cheese were very good. Greens tasted like they came out of a can. Very friendly service.
Absolutely loved this place!! We ate here 6 years ago and had to come back. Our waitress was very nice and the BBQ was amazing!!
Disappointing....after a long day of work I needed dinner to go. Ordered combo platter of ribs pork and chicken and asked for utensils and extra napkins. Guess what, not a single napkin and zero utensils. So disappointed in the service. Food was ok
It was my very first experience eating at Bub-Ba-Q My girl and I absolutely loved it, the food is amazing and had me really to relax and chill afterwards. Our host Stacy was Outstanding if you ever go there ask for her she helped us order with her suggestions and gave us the history of the company as well as other recommendations she definitely deserves a raise because she helps set to tone and made our experience so pleasant. We will definitely be back and next time I will bring our children ☺️.
Delicious food and our server was amazing! I think her name was Lila. She was new but took the time to really make our first experience amazing. It was clear the whole staff took tremendous pride in the restaurant and that makes them a cut above in my book!
Worst I’ve had. I normally go to the one in Woodstock but stopped by one in Jasper and it was horrible. Got the ribs and brisket combo. Ribs were extremely over cooked ( so much so one rib had no meat at all) and 2 slices of briskets. Incorrect sides and when I got the correct sides the Mac and cheese was cold. I didn’t even both having the waitress bring my other side out. By then I made my mind up I wasn’t eating this. I had 4 bites off the entire plate and the best they could do is half off. Never again! I didn’t even keep the plate at the table the entire time my husband was eating his bread sandwich. I never complain but this was unacceptable food and service.
Don’t believe the prices on the website menu!! The pulled pork plate on the website is 7.49 and says it includes 2 sides and toast. Once you order it is 14.95. I asked them to honor the menu or at least discount my meal and they refused because they have a disclaimer that they can change prices with market value. As a business owner they need to update the price when they change it. Very rude employees. They acted like this was my fault. Since I called in my order and it was fixed when I got there to pick it up I assume they had to throw it away or give it away for free. I guess what little bit of loss I caused by not paying for the meal and leaving is all I can do. Just know this place is not up to restaurants standards the rest of Woodstock has.
Love this place! Have been going here for years. We love the corn fritters, the bubba peños, their brisket!, ribs and chicken wings. Great options for super bowl. Honestly everything is good here. Great customer service and competent manager. He has built a relationship with the customers.
Food is decent, but the service is shoddy and inconsistent. When we visited tonight, we arrived well before the posted closing time, but when we tried to order, we were told they were closing early "due to weather." It was 45° outside with no precipitation, and we're not supposed to get inclement weather until the following day. If they're short-staffed or just want to go home early, then just say that, but don't lie to the customers. It's unfortunate because the food isn't bad. If they were managed more competently, I'd recommend them, but we'll be taking our money elsewhere from now on.
I had comb pork n ribs which was good. My husband had comb ribs n brisket which he said was good also. Had the baked beans but was not pleased had too much pepper. They replaced with potatoe salad. The others were good collared greens, fried okra n my husband was ok with the baked beans. The banana pudding and chocolate pudding were delicious. Will visit again.
