Terrible food and terrible service waitress even called us a bad name in Spanish when we left because we didn’t like it and didn’t like service
ordered door dash pickup, order was confirmed, and was notified was ready. got to the restaurant sat for 30 minutes waiting then was told the doordash system wasn't on first, then that their was a glitch.....complete lies and then refused to let me talk to a manager. currently still sitting and waiting. will never order or eat here again. very bad customer service.
The wait to be seated was unacceptable, the wait for our drinks (soda and water) was unacceptable, wait on food unacceptable. The food was good, the waitress was nice. They are very understaffed. There was a table there that said they had been waiting two hours for their food. I understand being short handed. But, if you only have one cook and two servers please close your doors till you can get a full staff. Your cliental suffer and you'll end up losing more money in the long and get a bad rep.I hope you find a full staff soon. Our waitress was doing her best. But customers need to come first.
Great food! Nice atmosphere.
My husband and I visited tonight for the first time. The restaurant was not crowded but it seemed only two servers were working. Crystal was very attentive but did mention she had 15 tables at one point this evening because several workers just didn't show up for work. I believe the owner's daughter was the other one working who made the salsa at our table (which was fantastic - they even roast fresh tomatoes for this!) I had fajitas and Dave had a chimichanga - both were delicious. I'll be having left overs for lunch tomorrow. We will definitely return.
My wife and I were trying to find a different Mexican restaurant in Waycross and we stumbled across this place it almost didn’t even look like it was open from the outside. But once we got inside we found out this place is a delight. They come to your table and make salsa however you like right at your table. They have fantastic Mexican food and wonderful selection of beverages. But don’t be fooled by the name of this place it is a steakhouse First and a Mexican restaurant second. The steaks we had were amazing didn’t even need a knife to cut them and the service was fantastic I would recommend this to anybody!
I was visiting my mom and decided to check this place out. Food was delicious, service was excellent. Best salsa I ever had. Definitely worth the money. Everyone deserves raises, especially with the pandemic going on. I will be coming back here from now on. Thank you!
Thought we'd try something new for date night (2/12/22) instead of our usual spots - and this place was recommended to me ... We definitely will NOT be going back ... literally EVERYTHING took forever from the time we got there to be seated in a more than half empty restaurant all the way to getting our check to leave. There was no line, nobody waiting to get seated and it still took almost 10 minutes to get seated. Then it took forever to get our salsa to go with our chips. The salsa definitely wasn't good, even though it was made right there at the table ... The white cheese (queso blanco) dip was super runny. My food was plated well and tasted good. He didn't get his rice that he requested. The couple that was leaving warned us at the door that it was bad service ... We should've listened. A couple came in and were seated but after nobody went to talk to them after 10 minutes, they got up and left without even ordering drinks yet. My bf kept saying maybe they were having a bad night ... I'm sure that this wasn't the case. Yeah, I understand short staffing ... But this was way more than just short staffing. Our waitress, I'm sure she meant well, but every time she came to our table, she'd stay and talk for 5 minutes ... She literally talked more than we did the entire almost 2 hours we were there (yeah ... I'm telling you it was super slow service) ... He didn't care for the salsa, cheese or rice ... Oh ... And did I mention this same meal would've cost $30 at Rodeo right down the street and would've tasted better?!?! The bill was $49 and some change for subpar food and even worse-slow service. Minus his rice - the picture shows our food ... And we both only drank Coke...
Best carnitas I've ever had. Just wish there was a little more meat in a typical order. The salsa is fantastic and made at your table. My step-dad is not easily impressed and he loves this place. I do, too and highly recommend it. If you don't like it, all I can say is, go back to Taco Bell. Your palate isn't refined enough for this place.
The AtMoshere is so unique and nice. The service is down to earth and makes you feel so welcome. The prices range for your visit and you will find something no matter your budget. They make the salsa in front of you and you're not afraid to let them know what you like. I recommend the Margaritas. They have a flavor unlike any other mix or anything that you would just buy from a shelf. The food is authentic and delicious. I love this place!!!
