Good food clean nice place for family
very good food and child friendly and great service
Great food and great service
Great as always, a little wait but definitely worth the wait. We always stop when coming through town and have breakfast for dinner most of the time always exceptional. We also shopped in the general store and got candy as always.
Over the years I have found that this is one of the easiest places to stop when you're traveling on the highway I have to admit sometimes I feel like twice as much as food isn't worth it really depends on what you order it's always good food I'm still a little confused and I paid that much for pancakes if I get improve one other thing it would be at some dark me to the chicken and dumplings who ever heard of a white meat chicken and dumplings but I still go there I still eat there it's always good for a big group I Like It Best in the winter time nobody ever at my table gets anything but biscuits so we get them for the fried apples that's a great combination boys love it they only have fireplaces and lanterns at the table the little games to keep you occupied don't get me wrong I know it sounds like I was down in the place and I'm not food is always very good service is usually very good
A busy place, but we got in with no wait. Our waitress seemed to have too many tables. Not very attentive, but she was pleasant. She was told when we ordered that our checks would be separate, but she messed them up anyway. My food was warm enough, but not hot. One of our tables' food was not warm enough, but the other was ok. The biscuits and cornbread was done well, better than some other places. Tea was good...just hard to get a refill or a to go cup.
A group of us had lunch here. The staff and service were very good. The food was fair. The portions were very small compared to other Cracker Barrel’s we have eaten at. Not sure I would eat here again.
Sadly this experience didn't live up to Cracker Barrel's old standards. Half of us didn't get our drinks, the baked potatoes were undercooked so much they couldn't be eaten, could not get our server to come out for the missing drinks or refills or even to get 1 jelly for our child's biscuit. The manager on duty wasn't going around from table to table like the managers used to so there was literally no one to help improve the experience.Good news: the chicken fried chicken was perfect and the hash brown casserole was well done. The store seemed well stocked.
Some of the waitresses hate when we ask for something. How dare us ask you to do your job. Coffee gets treated like a precious commodity. For 3$ per cup we should at least get one refill without employees acting like we asked them to dig a ditch or something.
While we were working in Waycross for 3 weeks, we ate Cracker Barrel a few times because we had gift cards. I have mixed feeling about this location. When we ordered they're chicken tenders they were extremely dry and seemed over cooked. They were only good the last time. The roast beef was great though. One of the times we ordered, their biscuits didn't seem fresh. It's like it was hit or miss. One time when we ordered, they forgot the fried okra. We didn't realize it until we had gotten back to our hotel though. Everyone who was working, seemed friendly.
