So disappointed at the unprofessionalism of most staff & dining experience in this Applebee's is sub par. The staff was arguing with one another at the bar area, a guy came IN and sat down with a platter of desserts to SELL ! While I watched guests waiting to be seated staff were standing around. The food was good, however I left stressed from the drama - I will never go back to this restaurant I felt like I dined at a flea market.
Had a family dinner and everyone was pleased with their meal. The food here was much better by far than the Applebee’s I have eaten that in the northeast. Drinks were also very good. The staff was lacking in southern hospitality but the good food made up for it.
They were short staffed and we had to wait a really long time to order. And the dessert I got tasted really old and just not good. But our waitress was very sweet.
Curbside pickup was great! Food was packaged neatly and it was much faster than I thought it would be. Great for taking a night off from cooking but still staying in!
The attendant was very nice. The environment is always perfect for the setting when we get together. My meal wasn't what I wanted & our waitress graciously changed my meal to a more pleasant & delicious one on the menu. It was a very nice experience & I look forward to bringing family & friends to visit Applebee's again. Thank You very kindly to the staff of Applebee's in Waycross.
Worst time ever at Applebee's. Took 45 minutes to get seated. Took a while for our order to be taken. There's no use to order an appetizer if it's gonna show up with the meal. And that Took another hour to actually get our food and eat. Not a good showing today at all. ☹☹
Store was nasty with dead roaches frozen where the ice cream is kept. Eat at your own risk. They'll never get rid of the roaches due to them not cleaning the store as it should be cleaned. Everything needs to be thawed our and clean thoroughly. I've never had roaches as Coworkers. It's nasty and unsafe. They do not switch there pans out as they should. Workers leave utensils in food over night and use them the next day. Cheese is hard as a rock for burgers and They'll still place it on the burger. You wouldn't know because it comes to so nice. I bet people that go here eat at lease o e roach. Cloe it down send corporate or the health department asap. No one washes there hands in this place. Touching food with there hands.
The service was really the only decent thing here. Outdoor seating was poorly heated and trapped cigarette smoke inside. Food isn't terrible, but very overpriced. Not worth the cost.
I came to town to see my dead boyfriend's grave and after visiting it, I ordered something to be delivered from their website. The website said the card didn't go through because of the debit card address, so I tried it again. It declined, but 2 things popped up from my PayPal debit card, saying it had taken the money out twice. Since I still didn't have a confirmation number, and they hung up on me when I tried calling and explaining, I walked across the street to them and asked them to cancel 1 order so I could just get one. They said there was no record of my orders even though I showed them where it said paid twice, 2 minutes apart. Long story short, they did nothing... have me no money back AND gave me no food...if I could give them 0 stars, I would. Awful, awful business and I won't ever go to an Applebee's again.
As you can see in the picture, our server, LIV was terrible. She refused to clear our table (we had to ask for EMPTY dishes to be removed, and they still were not!) The entire staff just did not seem to care about the customer service aspect, the experience was such a disappointment and the service was abysmal!
