Sat out front with the order light being ignored for 10 min while customers file in and out of the drive through. Absolutely no service provided. Blatantly ignored.
Food not soo great it be cold, they don't give you enough fries, you don't get your money's worth but they be ready to take your money.
I ordered a large lemon berry slush. It was quick and really good! Only downfall was stuff all on the side of the cup but the server went on got me some napkins.
They are always out of some essential parts of a sandwich ? eveytime I go in...I will say this the staff attitude has improved and the guy behind the counter was kind to me this time.
Location, location, location ... is very important when it comes to franchise restaurants. I usually go to the Sonic on Margie Dr, and never had any problems with my shakes from there. Today, I decided to go to the Sonic on Highway 96 since I was close by. Very disappointed!I ordered a medium Brownie Batch shake. The shake tasted more like vanilla and they didn't mix the brownie batter pieces very well. In fact, I don't think that they properly mixed it. It tasted like they just poured in the brownie batter pieces and quickly stirred it with a spoon a few times. There was no whip cream, no brownie fudge, and as you can see from the picture, they didn't fill the cup all the way up. After 2 sips, I threw it in the trash. I've had the Brownie Batch shake a few times before, and I know how it's suppose to taste and look. Sonic Highway 96 failed miserably.
The service is really bad. With 6 people visible inside, one one seemed to be working. I sat at the window for 8 minutes for two coney dogs. And then the chili on the coney dogs was thin and had little beef.
We ordered our food and waited for over 30 minutes with no reply. I walked up to the window and I saw a young man and asked who can talk to about my order. He didn't say anything walked inside and a young lady came out and sat down, neither said nothing to me. By this time there are more cars that are pulling up and waiting. This is the worst experience I've had here.
This Sonic restaurant on highway 96 is typical of most other Sonics. The layout, menu, drive through are all standard. The driving areas are in good shape and patched. The quality of the food that comes out is consistent Sonic food. The staff are friendly and this is one of the few fast food restaurants where I have not had any issues getting the correct items. That's a huge plus.
Never have any issues when picking up blasts for family members at night! Even on weekends when all of the spots are full, they seem to always be moving quickly!
I went to this location for the 3nd time in life, the first time I got the cheddar peppers and they taste just like the freezer! I also got onion rings, they were okay. The 2nd time, I ordered onion rings and they were hard and burned. The 3rd time I ordered a slushy that tasted like icy water, and the pretzel twists, they were withered and hard as a brick. I called and spoke with the assistant GM (Regan), and he was extremely nonchalant and said, I'll talk to the night staff, never offering to make things right and didn't apologize! I also ordered the cheddar peppers again, they were at least decent for a change. Although the peppers were decent this time around, due to Regan's not caring attitude, I will never be back at this hit and mostly miss food quality place! The workers could stand some serious coaching and development because they are horrible! The one on Watson is equally terrible. Adios Sonic...never again!!!
