I had the bourbon glazed salmon, grits and asparagus, my wife had a ribeye, mash potatoes and steamed broccoli. For dessert I had the New York style cheesecake with berries, my wife had the cookie dough triple layer cake. Have to say that everything came out excellent and our waitress was great. We'll definitely be going back here to eat in the future.
First time customer here and it was a very enjoyable dining experience. The atmosphere was great as well as the staff and food. The Crab cakes were cooked just right, tasty and not overbearing in seasoning. My entree was served with great presentation, fresh and worth the wait as well as the taste. Our server Dexter, gets FIVE stars for being very knowledgeable of the menu and offering suggestions on what we should order. I will definitely be back whenever I’m in town again and recommend this place to everyone.Visitor from Alaska
Wonderful experience!!! We loved this atmosphere! Food was delicious! We took my mom here for her birthday and she loved it! Appetizers was soo good we ordered three rounds lol. And they also gave her a chocolate dessert since it was her birthday. We will be back! Customer Service was amazing!
First-class dining experience in Warner Robins! Beautiful outdoor scenery, with attentive, friendly service.
We had lunch here after church on Easter Sunday. We have definitely learned that it’s best to make a reservation here.I had the fried chicken breasts with 2 sides. One was a side salad, and the other was grits. My husband had the shrimp, chicken and sausage gumbo with rice. The food was really good, and the grits were outstanding! I honestly can’t remember the combo in the grits, but I know cheese was definitely one of the ingredients. Their grits are hearty, and you could taste the corn in them. Definitely excellent as far as grits goes!Chicken was decent, and there were no complaints with the gumbo. Service was fairly prompt, though it was super busy.We have been in town for a year and have tried numerous restaurants in town, hoping for great food and experiences, and unfortunately most of the time we leave disappointed.Have to say, the Pond is the nicest place in town so far, all the way around. Ambiance, food and service. Prices are reasonable for a better dining experience. Everyone goes nuts in town for Props on Houston Lake Rd, but to be honest, for us it’s been mediocre there after going maybe 4-5 times. If you’re looking for a nice place for a date, or to just enjoy the view off the porch while eating good food, The Pond is your best option in Warner Robins hands down.
Had a rocky start. Made reservations for Sunday at 5:30pm. Didn't get seated right away. It wasn't busy. But I believe there were staffing issues. The hostess kept calling names of people for seating that clearly were not there. After patiently waiting to make sure these other parties weren't coming we were finally seated. Outdoor seating is beautiful but sitting up against the windows is hot because even though there is an umbrella for shade the sun bounces off the windows and causes it to be a bit too warm still. We moved away from the building to another shaded area which was much nicer and you could feel the nice breeze. After a bit of a wait our server came over apologizing stating she didn't know she had another table. We almost left as we felt the way things were going it wasn't going to be good, but decided to stick around. We ordered the Korean BBQ Pork Belly appetizer that was a daily special and the Gouda Mac & Cheese bites to start. Those cheese bites are really good and the BBQ sauce on the pork belly had good flavor. The Steak and Potato soup is delicious. The side of mac and cheese was ok. The others at the table ordered the Chicken Parmesan which was said not to have any flavor and the Glazed Salmon which was said to be good. If I were to go back I'd most likely go at sunset as the view would probably be amazing and I'd get the Mac and Cheese bites and some drinks and enjoy a nice evening outside. Other observations: As we were waiting to get seated, a woman came in to pick up a carry out. She was visibly irritated and said she was waiting in the car for a while. The hostess said we don't offer curb side any longer. The woman stated then it shouldn't be on your website. The hostess looked like she couldn't have cared less and said nothing to the lady. I thought that was extremely rude to not acknowledge her. Also, the hostess didn't smile once no friendly welcome nothing. The stars are mainly for the view.
Everything was Great!!! High Quality food and Excellent Service.
The service, ambiance, music and THE MEAL were Top Shelf.
I went here for the first time with my fiancé, and 2 other people. My fiancé previously had a bad experience around when it first opened, having undercooked shrimp in the shrimp and grits. Anyways, we gave this another chance since I had never been. The pond ambience is very nice, perfect for dates if you’re feeling a fancy place to eat at. I love their beignets, but the weird thing is we ordered 2 orders of beignets (filled with chocolate and plain/non-filled), and when they served it the non-filled was 8 pieces and the other order was 6 . Not equal. I would still say their beignets are good, the chocolate one reminds me of popeyes beignets, and the plain one is like a very fluffy soft donut, I recommend getting it.For the burgers, I got their pond burger , hmm I am unhappy with the taste as the burger patty didn’t seem seasoned at all. The only taste i get is from the bacon and cheese I added on my burger. The sweet potato fries is very good. I think they have the best sweet potato fries I’ve had, there was a good amount of sugar added , and a unique dipping sauce on the side which is a marshmallow dip. Their filipino lumpia doesn’t really taste like filipino, but still crispy and good.Overall, I think this is still a good place to eat.
This was my first experience and might I say it was a great one. Food was on point, drinks were on point, and the service was awesome. Will be returning.
