I hadn't eaten here in a few years so I decided to give it a shot. I placed my order online and it was hot and ready by the time I arrived. This is now my most favorite pizza. I was tired of chain places not measuring up but MFP was so cheesy and delicious and the wings are top notch. I actually ended up eating there twice this week. Definitely a great place!
I usually order delivery, or I call in my order and pick it up. Today I called and asked about the daily special. The lady on the phone told me how much it was. She did not take my order, instead I came in to just place the order. Another chick behind the counter told me a different price from the price the lady had given me on the phone. I can no longer support a restaurant that does not honor their prices. Or employ someone that just make up higher prices. I know prices have gone up in restaurants, but there is no way the price went up in the 10 minutes from the time I hung up the phone until I got there. I wasted my gas.
I'm not sure how a restaurant ends up feeling wholesome, but that's how this pizza place feels.It's quaint and friendly. The prices are great, especially during lunch. They have multiple lunch specials with pizza, wings, and salad, around $7.They get busy and it may take 15 minutes for pizza, but it's hot and freshly made. The taste is like a really good version of a home made pizza.Certainly worth trying.
I recently rediscovered this place, post-pandemic. In the past couple weeks, I've ordered take-out twice, and had dine-in dinner with my daughter. Today, I had take-out again (wings, done as ordered - extra wet), and I'm a fully satisfied 'revived' return customer! In the past couple weeks I've had lasagna, pizza, salad(s), and wings, and nothing has been less than very satisfying. I will definitely be back!
GIANT Stromboli. Lots of toppings on the inside. Not as much cheese or sauce as I expected but not sure you can fit much more in there. I had to ask for marinara. The garlic knots come as a group or you can order them individually. I ordered two and ate 1. The bread was pizza crust and the garlic was from a jar. Would be better if the garlic was fresh, it tasted like the garlic was mixed with butter not oil. The crust of the Stromboli was soft with a good light crunch. I wouldn’t drive far to come here but the people seem like a family and we should support local places. I would go here over a chain but wouldn’t drive across town for it. They have all you can eat pizza and salad everyday all day. Great prices and portions. The Stromboli was half a pizza, definitely enough to share.
Having lived in Warner Robins for 15 years, I was thrilled to eat at the most memorable of places the city has to offer when returning for a brief visit. I had the Stromboli, and my husband had the chicken parm. The food was just as amazing. If you order a regular size, be warned - it's huge! Flavorful and filling, MFP never disappoints.
Good food and good prices. The texture is also perfectly cooked and well seasoned.
Best diner in Portland with comfy seating, great food in home style cooking and friendliest staff and owner!
The masterwork that is MFP's commercial featuring their sons (most notably the breakthrough star Ryan) is singlehandedly the reason why I cannot wait to experience the ~value~ of My Father's Place one day. I will never order from national chains again. I wish I lived closer b/c I would be a frequent customer of this classic Warner Robbins establishment.
We have always had good service from the young adults that wait on us. Only once did we have an issue. We ordered pizza and wings but the wings weren’t ready till the pizza was gone. By that time we just got them to go and they were a little over cooked. The pizza is always really good.
