I was so happy to finally try Fried Green Tomatoes. The food is wonderful, prices are reasonable, portion sizes are great, and they’re conveniently located on the corner of Russell Pkwy and Kimberly Rd. I’ve never eaten friend green tomatoes as great as the ones they prepare, their fried chicken is amazing, and the candied yams were perfect. Absolutely give them a try if you haven’t already!
This place is awesome! They give you so much food for the money. Chicken was great(a lil dry but flavor was on point). Greens were amazing. Beef tips were delicious. Fried green tomatoes were good but could have been cooked a lil longer. Service was good and we got our food fast and hot. Will return soon!
Hands down probably the WORST "soul food" I've ever had. I can't even explain how much flavor this food lacked. It was so bland. The macaroni was almost like watery cheese and noodles. That's it. The cornbread was so hard and dry it took me a solid 5 sips of my drink to get it down. The baked chicken was amazing!! The mashed potatoes were horrible. He gravy was almost like a jelly. Gross. The fried green tomatos were JUST okay. Nothing special, not seasoned. Greasy. For them to be the name of the entire restaurant I was so disappointed in the quality. I'm glad I got to try it out but I will never buy from there again. The tea is great, the chicken is great and the tenders are great. Definitely just not worth the money though. I wasted 15 bucks on food and only ate the chicken.
Listen, I literally eat here every....single....day! Excessive much.... Yes lOl but hey when the food is good, you find yourself going back more and more. The ONLY thing that I wish they'd do is stay open later on the weekends. Even until 9 would be better than 8 everyday of the week but hey.... I'm going to make it work on my end regardless ? The people that work here are super sweet and the interior of this place is very clean. I am big on cleanliness and sanitation and they pass in tooth of those areas. If you love some good home home cooking, come eat here... They won't disappoint you! ❤️
It a basic cafeteria style southern food. You get your food quick. Definitely on the salty side, but I don't typically put a lot of salt on my food. I love that you can get fried green tomatoes instead of a roll.

The food there was so very good. Only been once but definitely going back. Reason why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the chicken, rice and broccoli casserole was just a bit to salty. Other than that... can wait to go back

Oh my goodness! The catfish, yams, macaroni & cheese, the coleslaw, and the fried green tomatoes were all so good!! The manager is the perfect picture of customer service!! I would give more stars if I could. We came in a little before closing, but welcomed in and treated so graciously. We will be back!!! We really enjoyed it.
Okay, Let’s start with the Pull Up. I seen so many people in the drive thru line (like a typical person) I said hmm they MUST BE GOOD ?. Let’s Go ‼️So, Be Clear The Drive thru Sign literally has handwriting that says “ come inside for faster service “. But I’m like okay that’s convenient suggestion UNTIL I had been in like for 15mins and it only moved once. ONCE I get to the intercoms, I can’t even place an order , it says (place order at window ??♀️) okay now I see why the Suggestion is there ?? .. So Boom, I decide to be smart and Now park the car and go inside ? YALL , I walked in and NO ONE WAS IN LINE ?? I was omg … .. the WHOLE TIME ‼️ So, I walk up to order .. I usually don’t trip but no one had hair nets on … and everyone’s hair was long hair and dangling all over the food selections (that’s was left) …. Okay …I order the double meat and double side , drink $9.99 exact to ? I JUST KNEW THIS Double Pork Chop, Collard Greens and Mash Potatoes with gravy was gone hit the spot. WHEN I SAY . My Feelings are HURT Fried Green Tomatoes on Russell Parkway. I have no idea what this meat is ? it’s has some kind of “Patty” formation. Mash potatoes are DEF from a ? and the Collards are the ONLY reason for the One ⭐️.Oh yea I left before the people in the drive thru . Inside is wayyyyyy faster ??
