My wife and I had lunch yesterday . Our meal was very hot and service was great. And we went back today for dinner it was amazing. The manager came to our table she was awesome. We drove 165 mile round trip each day to have a wonderful meal. Again thanks for a great meal.
Fried picklew for appetizer was amazing. HUGE mound of fried pickles. Could have eaten that alone for the meal.Highly highly recommend the Brisket French Dip Sandwich. So good!
We had a great meal on the outdoor dining area today with our puppy Conor. Brisket French dip was the pick! Thank you Leisa.
I have been to Smokin’ Pig, and now, Woodstack; I have to say, Woodstack gets my vote, hands down! All in all, just a better experience all the way around. Better service, better food, and better atmosphere for a comfortable dining experience.
First time visit today and everything was so good. We had the pickled chick and the brisket sandwich. Really good sides to go with it too. Excellent service with Sydney.
This was a fantastic first visit to Woodstack. We stopped in on our trip back from Florida heading back to Canada. We sat in the bar area and were extremely well taken care of by Lisa. From the moment we arrived Lisa was super welcoming, gave us great suggestions and since she knew we were in a bit of a hurry, got things going super quick. The food was delicious!! Between the 4 of us we had ribs, pulled pork, and brisket (the beef dip), along with all the delicious sides. We’ll definitely be going back the next time we’re in Valdosta. The food certainly sells itself but Lisa made our experience so wonderful. Completely above and beyond. Thank you :)
Second time I have been to this place. The meal tonight was just as horrible as the first I had. My husband and I decided to have the fried dill pickles-half portion. They were so greasy I could not eat them. I chose the brisket French dip for my meal. I asked for lean meat. I was served, I believe all of the fatty meats in the restaurant. I tried to pick the fat off the sandwich and when I was down to bare bread-it was soaked in grease. I definitely lost my appetite. I moved my plate to the side and obviously this is normal to see since the waitress never asked why I did not eat a thing. Reminded me so much of my first meal here. My fried veggies were swimming in a paper boat full of grease. I do not see what people eat here that is supposed to be good. I saw everyone around us picking things off of their plates. And the music! Why in the world would you want to have a concert in a small building. The waitress could not even here us when we tried to get her attention.
Everything was fresh to order. Great experience and great flavor.
The food cost does not match the amount of food. The brisket plate had three small pieces for $20. The pulled chicken was very dry and no flavor. We did enjoy the atmosphere. The pork skins are amazing!!!
Great food and wonderful atmosphere! The place was packed but they got our food out super quick! Will definitely be back!
