I went for the first time a few months back and had Jayla C. As my server and request her every time I go now. Great staff great service, and cliff cooks it up amazingly

The Salty Snapper has very creative dishes in addition to standards. Everything we tasted was outstanding. The live entertainment on Sunday night was a bonus. Service was especially good. Ask for Eric as your service and you will be very happy. ENJOY!

Fun, friendly atmosphere.. gives you that on vacation feel at home. Great music and food.

Food was delicious! I ordered the salmon with corn and fries. We also ordered the shrimp which was great as well. We had the loaded queso dip as an appetizer and it was good! The only thing that we were not pleased with was our alcoholic beverages (strawberry fields), it tasted like a watered down sprite. Definitely will not order that again. Other than that everything was great. Waitress was very nice. Overall pretty good experience

This was my first visit for dinner on a Saturday night. The Salty Snapper is a really nice restaurant, clean with tasteful decor. Not sure why they built it so close to the railroad tracks. Staff was young, professional and helpful. Everyone was casually dressed, which is my kind of place, reminds me of Southern California beach towns. We sat on bar patio outside, where live music was playing. I ordered two pulled pork tacos for $11, a little pricey but really good. My wife ordered the nightly special, ravioli and steak for $25. Not a good combination and a definite do not order, I tried it and found steak over seasoned with salt, the ravioli was over done and did not care for filling.. I reordered her Baja fish tacos, they were excellent. Key lime pie was good, but not in my top 10. I would definitely recommend this place, but order from regular menu items,.

Ordered takeout for our son’s birthday. They completely forgot the pound of steamed shrimp so my husband had to drive 15 minutes bs k yo get it. While they apologized, they didn’t offer any compensation. Between the cost of gas, and the fact that his food was cold by the time he went back for the shrimp, this was unacceptable for 80.00 worth of take out. Also, fries and hush puppies were not good. We won’t be going back

Stopped here while passing thru Valdasta and enjoyed a wonderful dinner. Luckily arrived at 5pm when in opened and seating was prompt. Good thing because the place filled up quickly. A vibrant place with a great outdoor bar and dining area. Music and atmosphere was good and the staff was attentive and friendly although kitchen was a little mixed up and slow. I had the raw oysters with a wedge and my wife enjoyed the salmon with a side salad. The bread bowl was saltine crackers, a fun twist. Enjoyed the outdoor seating and big screen TVs. Would definitely recommend and will visit again next time we are in the area.

Sad! Service was great. Food was awful. Got dozen oysters. You could literally put 6 oysters on one cracker. Very wrong for them selling them without letting the customers know that there no bigger than a dime. After being upset with oysters, I order the ribeye. IT SUCKED. Worst steak I ever had anywhere. So expensive for the worst experience ever from a top rated restaurant. . Definitely do not recommend it. They are very overrated. Don’t waste your money. ??

Wow! Definitely the best atmosphere and service I’ve had in a long time! The food was fabulous and plentiful for the price! We came here for brunch and the omelette was huge and very tasty! The French toast breakfast was amazing and delicious! A definite must in Valdosta!

Perfect gator tail. Awesome smoked fish dip. Street corn was nice.Service seemed odd??? Went there for music with friends, we sat in a smoking area outside (which is at the corner in front of the building). They didn't come to take our order... Had to go to the bar to place an order. Then wrong orders were brought to our table with three different servers wondering what happened. We really didn't mind and offered to pay for the order and eat it if the couldn't figure it out.I feel if they took the order to begin with, that wouldn't have been an issue...Otherwise great food and vibe.Cornhole was being played on the lawn, children were also enjoying the lawn. This provided an easy way to enjoy the live music while having your toddler run around.
