Went there after a recommendation from a friend. Ordered Mocha and was served latte. The drinks were too sweet even though I mentioned light on sugar.
Good coffee but the experience is a little slow. I just pass on by if there's any more than two cars that would be in front of me. In addition, I wish the owners could figure out a way to leave a tip on a credit card transaction as I would tip every time if I could.
After waiting in the for 20 minutes this morning, we were told our 14 coffee stamps on this card did not equal our free coffee. That they do not do by how many coffee stamps but by each block in the card stamped… hmmmm…what?I try to shop local but local is getting too high price and isn’t as good as Starbucks either and if 14 stamps don’t equal a free coffee during this recession on a 12 stamp free coffee card, why bother with subpar coffee and service?Edited below after response from owner:I would never as a business owner call someone a liar. Please do share the video footage because this is the exact card I handed the lady at the window. As you can see in the video I even counted 14 stamped to the lady at the window and she said it doesn’t count because on wasn’t in the first box. That she goes by one in each box not how many are on the card.
The coffee is delicious! The bagel is too. I waited 15 minutes to order. It took another 10 minutes to get a bagel and coffee. The person who ordered food before me came back to the window and their order was messed up. The drive-thru system at this shop is horrible and it's definitely just a bunch of high school college kids making pennies.
They never make my order correct and it’s not worth waiting in line all over again just so they mess it up again. I’m never going here again. Your burnt coffee is not even for the birds!
I don’t just like coffee. I LOVE coffee. My wife and I will travel miles for an establishment that does it right. Ellianos is just such a place. Their espresso drinks are hand packed and pulled and are not the result of pushing some button on an automatic machine. The baristas know their stuff and provide this heavenly nectar consistently. Their pastries and breakfast sandwiches are delicious and well worth trying. Now, a caveat. This quality of product does come at a price. Time. Hand pulled drinks made to order can not be rushed. Espresso must be served/ used fresh to guarantee best flavor. There’s no speaker system here. You pull up to the window, order your drink and wait for it to be prepared in front of you. This takes time. There are two windows in which to choose, but this place is so good, there’s always some sort of line for each window. If you are in a hurry, go see the mermaid. If you want great coffee, leave a few minutes early and come here. You won’t be disappointed
Ellianos have the BEST COFFEE in Valdosta! I go almost everyday, if not every other day. The freezers and smoothies are top notch. Everyone that works there does an Excellent job.
I've been a customer of this location for many years and I've always enjoyed the Cookies and Cream Freezer. The past 2 times I've been to Ellianos, the recipe of my favorite drink has been changed. With that being said, it would good to put new recipe beside the drink on the menu. To avoid any expectations of the prior drink.
The wait is usually a bit longer, but the coffee and amazing staff are worth it! Ashley, the owner, is super kind and helpful as well. My go to for coffee in Valdosta
Their coffee is good. They have some good sugar free options as well! And their specials for the month are also good! But, I will say they are the slowest coffee shop in town. I go once a month if that because the service is terribly slow. And it’s always the same. Waiting 20-30 mins in line and people drive off because of the wait. I wish it was faster… ?
