Visited 6.11The food and service was delicious! I didn't care for my original dish and it was swapped out with no problems.
-Wait Staff seen my party waiting to be seated; they were just standing off to the side talking and being very nonchalant! It took at least 6 minutes to get seated, with no one else waiting.-It took our waitress 15 minutes to come greet us and take our order. She kept serving her other tables until she felt the need to come to our table. However, she was wvery friendly and maintained a positive !-It was then only 40 minutes prior to the restaurant closing, and they turned most of the lights off on the restaurant. Why would someone want to eat in dimmed light?-Other parties that were here wayyyy before us were just receiving their food, and their orders were ALL screwed up!-Plenty of staff running around and walking around, just killing time.-It took 10-15 minutes ti receive our drinks after ordering them! It took another 10-15 minutes to bring back our refills with the actual cup we drank out of.-I believe the waiters were cooking the food themselves because since when does Cheddars put parsley on EVERY food item??? The food tasted AMAZING tho!!!! No one (waiter) was in plain sight to be found!!!-When we tried to get our waitress attention, she acknowledged us by looking at us and went on to count some money from her tips. So unprofessional!!!-The side items have been shortened and are much smaller in portions!-We asked for a manager, and it took management about 10 minutes to accommodate us.-The manager, Autumn, was very professional. She also discounted our bill.-After the manager accommodated us, our waitress kept coming back to back to back to ask us if we were okay or needed anything else! By then, it was too late for her to do her job! We were ready to go!!!-Oh, it also took 10-15 minutes for us to be able to pay for our meal so that we could leave! I know most people would have walked out with no regrets, but we are not that silly to do anything like that!
Great food at a great price. We love Cheddar's. It was clean and the employees were all super nice and attentive.
The greeter warned us that the kitchen was short staffed. We are soooooo happy we stayed. The kitchen perfectly prepared our food and it was presented beautifully. Our server was friendly and helpful.
Tuesday 7pm. Not too busy. Seated in the bar area, near the patio seating where the cigarette smoke would waft in when the door was opened. This section was freezing, if you love the cold, this is the section for you.We placed our appetizer order ( spinach dip- fresh, hot and delicious) through the kiosk. Waitress brought croissants but they were barely warm and unexpectedly flat (Is this something new they do with the croissants?) and but didn't bring the drinks. It took too long to get everything. Waitress was very polite so that is a plus. Ordered tilapia and shrimp. It had a blackened look to it, kinda spicy. Green beans were sweet which was not what I expected, but the broccoli was delicious.As we waited for our dessert ( Monster cookie with ice cream, whip cream and chocolate drizzle- tasted wonderful with the exception of the burnt cookie parts), busboy came over and started to collect our drink glasses, seemingly trying to rush us out. The dining experience was ok but could have been better.
I was served glass in my food and when I asked for a manager I was called rude for addressing it. And all I said was “I have glass in my spinach dip” the “manager” who looked like the kitchen manager due to his apron, proceeded to KICK US OUT. Do not recommend, our server forgot our food in the window as well so it has a film on the top from sitting under the heat lamp for so long. Just all around a HORRIBLE experience. Very disappointed in the management in this establishment.
We enjoyed our visit. The server was relatively quick. The food was good. Our appetizer was not put in but the rest of our meal was fine. No offer for desserts just a request for payment.The restaurant was not busy when we went. The ac and ceiling fan made it quite cold inside. Next time we will ask for patio seating if weather permits. If it does not, we will bring coats.
I’m very conflicted about what to say with this restaurant. We showed up at around 6pm on a Friday evening. All of our food was good and came out just as we asked, in a very timely manner as well. For some reason though some of the items were extremely cold as if they had just been sitting on a counter for awhile before being severed? Our waitress was very slow/ semi rude and one of the bus boys had headphones in running around the dinning room throwing his dirty rag in the air while singing. Although I thought it was funny it’s not exactly something I want to see at a restaurant while I’m trying to eat. I had to call on a different waitress a couple of times as well. She was very amazing unlike the one we had been assigned. Very confused as to wether I would ever come back, 3/5 for me.
I ordered the monte cristo and it is easily the best monte cristo sandwich I've ever had and I'm looking forward to having it again! The chips and queso were also very good and the complimentary honey butter croissants were also delicious. Our waiter, Michael, was great. He was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The world needs more servers like him. Thank you to Michael for the great service!Update:I am now a very happy repeat customer. I've had their incredible monte cristo multiple times and I expect I will have it many more. The service we've received each time has also been really good. Truly top tier. I highly recommend this place.That said, if you are planning on ordering well done steak and don't want to see ANY red, I recommend specifying that. My partner has ordered steak three times and twice he's asked to have it sent back because it wasn't well done.Again though, highly recommend eating at cheddars and especially the monte cristo!
Everything is better than anywhere else! Always awesome food and drinks.And this cake and ice cream are MASSIVE. Lol And delicious
