Arrived at 800pm with party of 5. Put our name on the list and was told 20-30 minutes. 40 minutes later we asked why all other parties had gone in front of and hostess claimed he called our name. Stood there and waited another 20 minutes after we had been passed up and asked if they knew how much longer. Hostess told us he didn’t know. We asked if he could check and he told us no.Absolutely terrible service all around. We have been tipping everyone $100 lately too.
This place was awesome! Excellent and fresh. The shrimp were friend ti perfection and the hush puppies were amazing. Service was outstanding. We will definitely come again next time we are in town.
The seafood did not disappoint. We started off with a dozen raw oysters. I am South Dakota, so it is hard to judge them. They were large for my standards and were yummy. For a main course I split the shrimp and crab boil for 2. For $43 I thought it has excellent value and flavor.My colleague had the snow crab, ($65 market price), no complaints but seemed slightly steep. Maybe ask for market price before ordering if you are concerned.The place isn't huge so be prepared to wait unless you want to sit outside.
Went in around 6p.m. last night. We were immediately seated and the place was very busy. Had boiled and peel shrimp,salad,and hush puppies. Outstanding! This restaurant is a well tuned organization and the service is first class. Everyone has a specific job and they do it professionally and quickly. Love this place!
Snow crab and shrimp with an oyster starter. Very prompt service. I would definitely come back for more.

This is a great place! Locally owned and operated they do seafood right. We had the crab cakes, onion rings and the blackened shrimp with cheese and bacon. Unbelievably good! Service was very good, friendly and attentive. This is a must try. Lots of friendly customers as well.
I had seen good reviews and had others recommend Bubba Jax for seafood so decided to try it with a friend. We both had the shrimp and grits and found it to be very good and a large portion that we couldn't finish there. We also had onion rings which were some of the best I have had. The servers were friendly and prompt and overall we had a good experience with this meal.
My husband had never been, we went tonight and they never disappoint. Great food, FANTASTIC , FRIENDLY SERVICE, and fun atmosphere. We highly recommend! FYI- they have paper towels on the table for messy eaters! Fabulous !
