Everything was wonderful. Had prime rib, baked potato, and salad.

Great restaurant along the 75. Stopped during our travels for a wonderful lunch. The Delmonico steak was cooked to perfection and the wonderful salmon Caesar salad was enough for two meals! Great atmosphere great prices and our waiter Tuck was superb! There was ample room in the parking lot for our RV.
We try to avoid fast food on our road trips but selecting walk-in restaurants is always an unknown. So it's always great to experience a restaurant that gives you good service and great food at reasonable prices. Well you can expect all at Austin's Cattle Company
We had a great 12 oz prime rib, one of the best ever, Caesar salads were excellent. I had a wonderful 7 oz filet with veggies, will return, exit 16 in Valdosta, Logan our waitress did a fine job.
Sooo… I will say that everyone I dealt with here was very nice and professional. I just HAD to take one star because when I placed my call-in order, the young lady told me that there is no pork in the “baked beans” but it was actually “pork & beans” (which is FULL of… yep, PORK!) when I picked up my food. I would’ve ended up at the hospital has I not looked and eaten it? They had no problems replacing it though so kudos for that.ANYWAY…. I ordered the salmon steak (which was not the actual thick salmon STEAK that I thought I was ordering… if you’ve had one, you know what I mean), but it was still pretty good. I can’t have any dairy right now so I went with the mashed potatoes and sautéed vegetables (with no Parmesan) for sides. The potatoes were absolutely amazing… even without adding salt and butter!! The vegetables were good too… not over or undercooked. The bread was great as well… again I can’t have dairy at the moment so I had to eat it without the delicious looking butter that was served with it ? but it was still good and fresh. I was most impressed with the amount of attention and courteousness I received, even though they appeared to be swamped when I arrived. I’ll definitely check them out again and would most definitely recommend ?
A must for a good sit down food. Salad, both Cesear and house were not anything special. The apps were phenomenal! Gator Bites were a perfect combination of light breading with just the right amount of seasoning. The gator itself was as tender as I've ever had. The onion bloom was a great lightly breaded and perfect seasoning blend.The steak had a seasoning blend I was not familiar with that had some light notes of warm spices that married well with the flavor of the steak itself. The steak tips were slightly over cooked but the mix of onions and peppers more than made up for it. Flavorful and still juicy. The steak burger was a different spice than the other steaks that was a great compliment to the tender ground beef that allowed the beef to be tasted within the bun and toppings. Top job and will now be added to our favorites lists.
Amazing all around experience. Lincoln was friendly, efficient, anticipatory – easily the best of more than a thousand servers since the beginning of COVID.My T-bone, medium rare, Pittsburgh-style, was perfectly prepared and awesome. My wife's Filet was similarly perfectly prepared and delicious. Broccoli was really steamed and the salads had real tomatoes, not the mealy or tasteless typically served elsewhere.Finally, the experience of tasting a Dutch apple pie with a side of vanilla ice cream placed on a hot cast iron plate, at the table, has to rank as a top all-time dessert.We will go out of our was in order to dine at Austin's on trips that involve I-75 in South Georgia.
First impression was “oh oh, motel-restaurant type establishment, this food may suck”. I was pleasantly surprised! The fish and shrimp with onion rings plate was pretty good! I think the onion rings were made and not frozen. Wife had the chicken tenders plate. Also very good.Ill keep this place in mind for my routine trips trough Valdosta. Server was delightful, too.Bottom line: good prices, tasty food and friendly service.
