My friend and I came on a Thursday. The live music was wonderful. Our server, Ebony, was super sweet. The drinks were good- I got the blueberry mojito and he had The Godfather of soul (which tasted like 5 shots worth of pure scotch- which he appreciated.)The food however, was abysmal. The meatloaf was dry and tasteless. I ordered salmon, asparagus and Mac but was served trout, green beans and cheesy noodles. I sent the cheesy noodles back for mashed potatoes but they hadn’t cooked any tonight. The trout was also tasteless- I’d wished there had been salt on the table but my green beans were seasoned enough to last me a lifetime. It was the worse meal I’ve had in awhile but… we suffered and paid our $81 bill anyways… I won’t ever return.3 stars only for our server, Ebony, and the music.
This was the worst brunch i had experience in Atlanta. The water was great but the service was terrible. We saw that it was short staff but I can not comprehend why it took 2 hours to get our food. We was complimented by some spicy muffins due to the long wait. The burger was salty and the unlimited mimosas was orange juice only. The old fashioned that came to the table water down. Lights was flickering while we were eating . The manager had an attitude and only took off $2 from the unlimited mimosas. When we only had one glass . If you have people quit on your then plan accordingly as far as how many customers you can bring in. This was my first and my last time here. It making me do one star but really it’s a zero out of five
I am in disbelief that this restaurant has a 3.7. I will NEVER come here again or bring my staff here. My party and I arrived at 1:30 pm. We were seated, when I arrived I asked would they be able to accommodate a party of 6 the young lady said yes. We set down , it was thirty minutes before some came and asked orders for drinks. We ordered bottomless mimosas thinking we would have time prior to them ending at 3:30 to drink a few . We received our first mimosa fifty minutes later, by that time it was almost three. The service was horrible , everything was a delay. From getting food to drinks. It was so bad we ask to speak to the manager , about taking off of the mimosas because we were only given one. The manager was rude and stated she was going to take off two dollars. It took another 45 minutes and when we got the checks the discount wasn’t given . So we ask to speak to the owner that didn’t solve the issue either. He was nonchalant and stated they were understaffed , which I understand but that should have been communicated prior to seating us. To sum this bad experience up we finally were able to get our checks at 4:30 . At this point we had been there four hours and we were ready to go. We left with nothing discounted . The manager told the waitress that she could take off the gratuity, which that sucked because she wouldn’t get a tip. The customer service la is big time from the owner to the staff, and it’s awful because you want to try and support black owned businesses but the service is so horrible at times. Not once did I hear an apology from the manager or owner. My money will not go back into this establishment and neither will the money for the university I work for utilize this as a place to come for staff outings.

It's a beautiful venue! There's plenty of seating and a spacious dance floor. They have great live acts and you can also have a special event here. The food is great! But they only have 2 waitresses so it takes a long time to get your food especially if it's a full house. They have a dj that comes in after the live music and the music was REALLY loud. But it's still a great venue!
Came here for a "Black in the Day" game show. The food was horrible.Had the blue cheese fries & Mild Wings and Lemon Pepper Wings. Fries are cold. Wings were cold.Drinks were amazing!!! Gave 2 stars for me Blue Note - its like a blueberry mojito.
Took them 30 min to bring out peach cobbler and bread pudding something that’s already cooked and prepared and it was HORRIBLE never had anything like it the cook needs to go back to culinary school the cobbler tasted like can peaches with nothing else added and flour on top and bread pudding was sour must have been old as hell and I was supposed to get ice cream with my cobbler but they gave me a cup of old cream that was spoiled at the bottom I will include pictures this place is a mess and unprofessional sad because I love supporting black business but never again! And had the nerve to charge a gratuity when it was take out and the service was mediocre
Amazing place with great southern food and live music! Drinks were as delicious as the food and the live band was grooving.I went for both lunch and dinner. The atmosphere is great. They were jamming to 90s and 00s r&b during lunch and the live band was rocking everything from Tina Turner to Rick James at night. If you lobe southern food and good music this place is a must.
So we had a birthday brunch here and during brunch we discovered there was live Music ? during dinner hours so we came back for dinner. This place is awesome, it's a hidden jewel ?. The entire ambiance is what I expect in Buckhead but this is 2x better because it's in Dekalb and a BOB. During brunch the food was delicious, everything we had was good. NOTE: A previous review said the chicken was not seasoned and I agree...that is my only brunch negative everything else was absolutely delicious. To be totally transparent, my dinner experience was not so good as it relates to the food. The fried green tomatoes were terrible even after sending them back and having them fixed. I sent them back again and got the chicken wings instead.... again ZERO seasoning on the wings, they are just fried, dipped in sauce, and served the wings. I WILL DEFINITELY GO BACK BECAUSE THE PLACE OVERALL IS AWESOME AND THE ENTERTAINMENT WAS GREAT. The place is clean, feels good, and the service is second to none, did I mention the service is second to none. Thanks Abdul!! This will soon be the place for mature adults to have a great meal and good entertainment...I'm sure they will fix the few food issues I have mentioned. THIS IS A MUST VISIT IF YOU ARE WITHIN AN HOURS DRIVE.
I love this place! The new management really has a passion for fine dining and a great ambiance. You will enjoy their food, hospitality, and live band. I got to personally meet the Chef who has an amazing white sauce, great taste buds ? I'm a foodie. But the drinks..omggg... You guys gotta go try this spot. The staff are amazing! Def a MoApproved location for food and drinks... And Live music ❤️
