The place itself is accessible nice and clean. My issue is not anything in particular other than the fact that the burgers are not that great. The beef patties lacked much taste. The bun is serviceable, the burger was also very GREASY. The fries are standard fare.Overall, the place is just ok. Burger is a bit bland, and not enough flavor or seasoning, it doesn’t stand out other than neat presentation. The burger simply doesn’t match the quality of Cheeseburger Bobby’s or 5 Guys. Especially since this was a $15 meal for a single person. Save yourself money and go to Cook-Out for less than half the cost. I’m attaching my receipt as well so the owner knows I was a real customer and wanted give feedback.
Menus
All of the staff members were very friendly. You order from the counter and then the food is brought out to you. I posted a picture of an old menu that was given to me. The prices on the menu are wrong but the food items are still being served. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich on texas toast special ($10.99) with fresh cut fries. It wasn't spicy but they do offer fresh or pickled jalapenos. The sandwich was too big to put in my mouth. I had to cut it. A friendly staff member would stop by the table to replenish our ice teas and get us anything we wanted. I would definitely go to the village burger again.
Those were the best fries we have ever had, hands down. And where else can you still get a burger for under $5?? Not even at fast food places! Concrete was delicious too. All in all we were blown away by Village Burger and feel it is a best kept secret. We've lived in the area for over 10 years and kicked ourselves for not coming here earlier!
The only redeeming quality about this place is that the staff is super friendly and you can tell they are trying to help! I placed an online order and it said it was ready however I proceeded to wait for 20 more minutes inside the location. Yes, they were busy inside. But that shouldn’t reflect the fact that they had every single item in my order messed up except for one. I sent both back to have them corrected and they sent them out still with something missing. Come on village burger, you guys are much better than what I saw today!
Went there and felt so welcomed. Good size burgers and great fries. Love the energy and sense of everybody wanting to be there and caring about each other. I would recommend this place to everyone. Brightening up my spirit on a rainy day.
Marissa was AMAZING!!! Food quick and delicious even though we arrived a few minutes before closing. Ice cream usually hurts my stomach really bad but this place had not only delicious smooth ice cream but didn't give me upset stomach. If you lookinh for a great family environment this is cute, big open windows and clean bathrooms. Thank me later!
They the best Turkey burgers when they can get the order right. I ordered 4 combos & all my burgers were prepared wrong & the seasoned fries I ordered wasn’t seasoned. The burgers aren’t labeled so you can’t tell who’s is who’s until you unwrap them, which was when I got home & they were closed.
Cool spot with awesome burgers. I had the half pound Village burger and the juice literally ran down my forearm. The girls taking orders were very polite and my burger was cooked a perfect medium. There’s patio seating out back as well.
The burger and fries was great. The salad was pretty good too except it had quite a few stalks and not enough leafy lettuce
Best burgers--somewhat like Freddie's or Five Guys, but so much better. Fresh meat patties. Awesome seasoned fries! Make sure to ask for Village Sauce on burger, but also in a cup for dipping fries. Can take a little longer for food, but they are waiting to cook until you order-worth the wait.
