My teenage daughter wanted to try Uncle Maddios, but unfortunately we were disappointed. We normally get personal pan pizzas that are bigger, not as greasy and not as dark and they forgot to put the Caesar dressing for her salad. I drove 30 minutes from Lawrenceville to try the pizza, and the only good thing out of this was the lady who was at the front counter was very nice.
*Update* Wow, I certainly did not expect a call from Brett regarding my review and the issue. I have changed my review to 5 stars: as stated, food is awesome but the customer service is stellar. A refund has been issued by the store for the accident. Thank you Brett!Food is wonderful. The issue is online ordering and delivery when you don't get something that you ordered and paid for you can't get a refund. The website used tap mango.com and there is zero way to get a refund for something that was not delivered. I called the store and they said I had to go through Uber eats when I didn't order through Uber Eats I ordered through the site in which their website took me for delivery. Food excellent, delivery incorrect and there's no way to get a refund as the store claims I'm supposed to get my money back from the delivery service.
Have been coming here for years, the service as of late has been poor at best. Like a few others have said, if you order online expect that your order will in fact NOT be ready when they say. When you do go to the counter to pickup, you'll have to physically flag an employee down otherwise they'll ignore you.
Maddio's is one of those pizza places like Your Pie and Blaze that specialize in the personal sized pizzas. They've got a menu of lots of different types of pizzas or you can just make your own. Salads and calzones are also available and look really good.The guy told me that they make their ranch in house, and it's definitely better than the kind from the bottle.Will definitely come again.
I feel like no matter who they hire their staff has no customer service skills and management doesn't teach it. I come in here regularly to pick up doordash orders and 1. The order is never ready on time, taking 30-40 mins to be ready AFTER I show up and 2. The staff looks at me but doesn't acknowledge me. If you don't stop someone specifically and tell them to help you, then they'll all ignore you. I believe good customer service means greeting and helping customers and not have them standing there looking stupid in your walkways while the order is already super late. Don't order doordash from this place save yourself and your driver a headache.
Had us waiting nearly an hour didn't call our names or order #. The pizza was just sitting on top the oven while they serviced everyone else. Could have been gone a long time ago. I shouldn't have tipped if they were gonna be this careless.
I was at the restaurant a few hours ago & the first thing I noticed when I walked in was none of the employees were wearing masks. I went to the register to place my order & when I got there I said something to the employee there, I asked aren't y'all supposed to wear mask? His reponse was very nonchalant& he literally shrugged his shoulders& said I don't know!! The woman that was making the pizzas should've atless been wearing one Smh. Now I know alot of people have gotten so uncaring with wearing mask & THAT is very unfortunate because Covid 19 is still happening, I think when you work somewhere especially a restaurant you should have a mask on covering your nose &mouth especially if a customer says something to you, I mean anything can happen people can sneeze cough right on your food just to be mean because you said something to them. So I'm giving this review so they can hopefully do better because if not I won't go back, especially since this isn't my first experience like this here. I've been coming here for years & the last few times hasn't been that good. I don't know maybe management should have more employee meeting, so they can have better customer service. I REALLY hope I don't get sick because the employee I originally said something to didn't change his gloves between orders also.

First time here. Customer service poor. Do not recommend. Waited hours for my food only for the outcome to not be worth the wait.The food was horrible and greasy! No stars! Waste of money.
Typically the pizza here is delicious, in particular The Big Max (all meat pizza). This time around the pizza was still good, only the crust was over cooked. Of all the times I've been to the place for take out, this is the only slip up. Also, the wait was a little over extended than normal. It seemed like a staffing issue. Nothing major. I recommend a pie here if you're interested.
