Stopped at this location to get food, I typically stay away from Popeyes as it can be quite salty, however, on this day, I was craving it. I ordered a 2 piece spicy meal with red beans and rice. My order was incorrect in that they gave me mild chicken. In true Popeyes form, the chicken was too salty and I didn't finish my meal. The spicy option would've cut some of that saltiness for me.
First of all, I went to the door and it was locked. There was not a sign on the door that indicated "Drive Thru Only" but that is what I had to do. I ordered a 2-piece ALL-WHITE CHICKEN combo meal at drive-thru with red beans and rice and UNSWEET tea. When I arrived home and sat down to eat, I discovered A WING AND A SMALL THIGH instead of my All-White Chicken. I did get the red beans and rice but was given SWEET TEA. Be sure to check your order before you drive away. I ate the wing - do not like thighs. Poured the sweet tea down the drain. PLEASE ASK YOUR STAFF TO PAY ATTENTION WHEN TAKING AN ORDER AND WHEN FILLING AN ORDER. EXPENSIVE LUNCH FOR SOMETHING I DID NOT WANT. I attempted to call the restaurant for two or three hours every few minutes but there was never an answer.
Was told to wait 15 mins for fresh chicken. Went in 15 mins later and the cook never dropped the chicken. I literally have to leave because I have to go pack for my flight tonight. Very upsetting. And horrible customer service. It's sad that Popeyes has to ALWAYS be synonymous with awful service.
It’s ludicrous how they allow themselves to take 1 order, wait til they fulfill that 1 order, THEN take another order. What’s the point of “fast food”? This keeps ppl in the drive thru for an unreasonably substantial amount of time. The location on Clairmont is doing this as well. I don’t see how you can possibly remain in business operating this way. Very baffling.
Had a coupon to use for doing a survey, however the dining room was closed. Hate eating in my vehicle, especially fried chicken. Drive thru only. We didn't drive thru, we drove out.
Got a 2 piece combo and the chicken was dry and recooked… the sprite was carbon water..Then I got nuggets but not all and didn’t get sauce,No napkins,The tea was not sweet..AND THE LINE WAS SLOW AND WAS NOT EVEN BUSY.
I just left and noticed a new female manager. She appears to be on top of things...Very professional. Staff seems to be following suit because of her expectations.
Worst managed Popeyes in the world. The last three times they have randomly just not been open, closed while I was waiting in line, or just never opened the door or took my order. Skip this location completely and go somewhere else. Love their chicken but the employees and management make me want to never eat here again.
Update: I ordered popeyes through door dash app and they picked up my order from this location so the employee clearly lied about being closed and running out of food. Unbelievable.This is the worst popeyes location I've ever been to. The order is wrong every time. They never have all the menu items available. They seem to arbitrarily decide when they open and close, which is nowhere close to reflecting their operating hours on Google or the app. We just sat in the drive thru for 20 minutes, got up to the monitor to order where a handwritten sign said they opened at 12pm (its 1:50pm) and the worker announced they're closed because they're all out. All out of what? The entire menu? Workers? Drinks? You ran out of the entire inventory in less than 2 hours? Who runs this place?
This location is extremely understaffed. The staff are rude. Each time I’ve gone, my order is incorrect. The drive thru doesn’t greet you. They expect you to sit there and if you start ordering before someone says “go ahead” then there’s attitude for not knowing when to order or not.
