Before and during covid this restaurant did such a great job. However, they never went back to their original hours and they close sooo early. You can't place an online order after 545 and the dining room is also closed by six. Annoying to have to walk in to place an order. But I did walk in and the staff was clearly ready to go home. One was sweeping, one was sitting down at a table, the grab and go food was covered up. I decided not to order because it felt like it would have inconvenienced them and the food is not worth the negative vibes.

This location has terrible customer service. I had a specific Uber Eats order that the Newks staff all but ignored. I asked for two customized pizzas and received food that would not suffice even for a basic order. The food was not fresh and tasted awfully.I sent a picture and message detailing my experience and their response was, “We understand it is disappointing to order food and it not meet expectations. We will not be refunding your money.”Allow that to speak for itself. Do not waste your money or time supporting this location. Incredibly disappointing.

Lunch with friends here. Love the selection of menu items and the friendly wait staff. Delicious food and reasonable prices were bonuses too.

Went to the lavista location for the 1st time eating here I ordered Newk's Chs Steak only to get home and see it's no meat bell peppers. I don't no if I should be mad or laugh

Always something wrong. Always. This time I ordered a southern salad and added some ingredients. I ordered online. When I got home, looks like a tablespoon of the chicken salad. I'm not going back to this store anymore. If traffic weren'tso bad, I'd go back, but too tired and traffic is terrible...never again I'm done. I just noticed, no grapes, no nuts, nothing I called. They said the grapes etc. Are mixed in the chicken salad...as I said, there was barely any chicken salad on it. The manager said bring it bsck tomorrow. I started eating this catastrophe because it's 7 pm and this was dinner. Avoid this store. It's the worst one. I get this salad all the time and I would not be calling to complain if it were even marginally correct. Avoid this store.

I placed my order for pick up and have been waiting for 30 minutes. When I asked after twenty minutes, the young lady said ya uh were kind of busy and walked away. Never have I had such poor customer service she needs an attitude adjustment pronto. The food is always great but when I only have 30 mins for lunch waiting here for going on 40 minutes is just awful. I’ll stick to the Brookhaven location

Good tasting food for the most part and great service, however; I have an issue with one item, and that's the shrimp po'boy sandwiches. They are dry, the bread is a bit hard, they don't come with any mayo or sauce on them, and they're very over priced for the small amount of shrimp you get, so you have to order double shrimp. I did like the smoked shrimp though. For the price of one shrimp po'boy at Newk's, you can get two footlong shrimp po'boys at most other restaurants that have softer bread, triple the shrimp, and at least mayo, flavors aoli, or sauce. Just saying. ??‍♂️

This location is is constantly closed at random times that are not posted online. For example, I went at 5:00 on a Saturday and there was no one there. Another time I came by and they said they were closed because the computers were down. In addition, the few times that I have been able to get food it has just been ok. I have never experienced this with any other Newks location. Looking at past reviews I see that this is a common problem that will probably never be addressed. I will make sure to avoid this one in the future.

Visted here and after spending $30 on some very dry sandwiches I will not be back. My drinks were flat, the cashier was clueless and not very knowledgeable about the menu and the place was smoked out so obviously something had been burned on the grill. Shortly after my visit I filled out the form to be contacted about this visit & no one contacted me. So much for customer service.

First off, I like Newks the restaurant. But after our 3rd disappointing experience at this Northlake location, felt the need to write a review. No matter what time you go to there, 2pm, 3pm or 6pm, the "dining room is closed for the evening". They have consistently forgotten parts of orders and randomly are closed early or in the middle of the day. Interestingly enough, they close at 7pm vs the traditional 9pm of other Newks. Like many restaurants, they may be understaffed due to pandemic, but YIKES. I know we'll get the standard copy & paste response back from the Owner as seen in other reviews, but hopefully they can improve their performance. It's like they just don't even care.
