A Tucker gem! This family owned spot has consistently been a quick and consistent source of yummy Americanized Chinese food. Great prices and fast service match hot, fresh food. I always call ahead and try to pay cash. The lunch specials are unmatched in price and value!
Food was full of flavor my 2nd time dinning in. I always get the egg foo young. I'm a Midwest girl I love gravy on my egg foo young. If that's what your looking for then this is your place. The veggie egg roll was flavorful as well. Clean atmosphere with everything you need. I'm a vegetarian & they have plenty to offer for us.
I usually come here every weekend. Main Moon is easily my favorite Chinese restaurant in Tucker. Their cooking is excellent and their service is even better. They have so many tasty choices! I never come away unsatisfied. ?
I definitely will not be coming back to this place. I usually go to a different spot but wanted vegetable Lo Mein and my other go-to sites were closed. My husband got the kung pao shrimp, and we were both disappointed. $20 later, and everything was eaten around and thrown in the trash. The food was bland with no flavor, the vegetables were soggy, and it was poor quality Chinese food. I'm not too fond of food that tastes rushed and as if no care was put into it. Also, the spring rolls were crispy on the outside but soggy on the inside with a strong ginger taste. I will not be coming back here. Don’t let the 4.5 rating fool you.
Food quality was terrible. Rice was hard and undercooked. The honey Chicken tasted rotten and stale, would not recommend this place to anyone .the reviews do not match the taste.
I just moved to this area not to long ago. And I’m so happy i found an Asian food take out spot that not only has phenomenal customer service, but the food is extremely good! Sesame chicken is great and the won ton soup is my favorite. I wish the wings were bigger though. They’re way too small.
Use to be my favorite go to but for some reason last time I ordered it was not good at all. Garlic shrimp was good but rice bland, big chunks of bell pepper was a turn off. Was ver disappointed to get a lot of rice and only 5 shrimp..... my boyfriend had pepper steak and it was not good at all.. chewy and bland. Only good thing was crab Rangoon and garlic shrimp. Just hope next time, food has season and give more shrimp!
Food is great! The best thing is they are not salty and greasy unlike others. This place is busy with mostly take out orders.
When you walk in, you'll notice it has the typical fast-casual sorta hood Chinese restaurant layout, but the food is really good, and va step above the norm. They're even flexible on the menu; I'm a Type II diabetic and I avoid excessive carbs, so they allow me to sub rice for mixed veggies, and don't trip about it. The shrimp in their seafood dishes are larger than most Chinese restaurants and the cost is lower, but the food tastes better as I've just started. However, I wish they would invest more in their decor, because these owners should care about the upkeep of their businesses aesthetically, not only for themselves, but for their customers. I've noticed that businesses who have a majority African American costumer base, barely keep their buildings clean, like we (black people) don't deserve clean establishments to patron.
I have been going to the Main Moon since they opened in Tucker. The food and service have always been very good. Good value also.
