Food is good, people are nice, The music is great every Sunday from 6 PM to 9 PM. Let’s not forget those great margaritas as well.
Food is pretty good. Drinks not so much. I ordered a margarona and it was warm and didn't have a good taste. We also got a texas margarita and it was better but warms too. :(
I understand being understaffed, but having people who came in after my husband and I get served before us. Not the best service, we finished our chips before we got our drinks and cheese dip.
Good food. Juicy and flavorful
I have been eating at El Matador since the mid 80's. I ate there last Saturday. The server brought a nice big basket of Tortilla Chips and a ridiculously small bowl of Salsa (about 1/4 cup) which wasn't enough for the big basket of chips, so I asked for more Salsa. Much to my surprise they told me they would charge $1.50 for another bowl of the same size. I was shocked, $1.50 for about 1/4 cup? I have never been charged for extra Salsa. So here I had this big bowl of chips with no more salsa. I will never eat there again.
Very good. Staff is friendly and it's always clean. It's just outside my neighborhood but totally worth the 20min drive. A new favorite.
The service is very friendly whenever I come here. The food is also good.
We got take out, through Uber Eats. The food was wonderful even after the trip. Perfectly seasoned and tasty. We will be coming to dine in, one day soon. We just moved to the area and now have a favorite spot for Mexican food!
I don’t normally write reviews and excuse the half eaten chimichanga. I didn’t realize it was going to be this amazing!!! So I found this restaurant on Door Dash but the fees and delivery times were ridiculous so I called my order in. The customer service over the phone was just amazing in person. I cannot stand dry chicken. But when I got home and took my first bite it was mind blowing! The chicken was moist, it was flavorful and the tortilla was fried just right!!! Between the awesome customer service and great tasting food I will definitely be back!! Probably my favorite Mexican restaurant!!!
This is their take on arroz con pollo. I was expecting a grilled chicken quarter leg over rice (the authentic style) but instead, I was served this. I also ordered a quesadilla with chips and cheese dip. The quesadilla had hair in it and my cheese came cold as if they just pulled it out of the fridge and served it to me.
