I went to this location because it was close to my hotel and I am visiting here for work. I was greeted by a robot on the microphone. When I got to the window I was told my price which was $22 for some chicken wings, no problem we are in Atlanta I understand. Then the gentlemen tells me he’s out of shakes and his machine is broke… okay no problem give me a fountain drink please.. then he cashes me out hands me my card and then my food and drink. I ask the gentlemen can I please have some ranch for my chicken wings. He looks straight at me and said $.53 and I looked at him and asked him are you serious or joking and he said no I’m serious. I asked him why I didn’t get dipping sauce with my chicken wings and he stated that’s the rules of checkers. I said to him okay I guess it must be a Atlanta thing because I’m Savannah they give sauce. & he tells me it’s a checkers thing not Atlanta. So I gave him the $.53 and went on my way. I will never go back to this restaurant. The gentlemen was ridiculously rude and the fact that I paid $22 for chicken wings with no sauce is just ridiculous!
I ordered what I thought to be simple. I got the 2 for $4 Crispy Fish sandwiches. I have never tasted a soggier fish sandwich in my lifetime! ? Benefit of doubt: They may have actually been trying to give me fast service. But "Crispy" is in the name! How do you fail on that? It was enough to turn me off of eating at ALL Checkers... for a while. ?
Service was good and food was good, but the new voice on the speaker when you pull up is, well let's just say I prefer a human.
I arrived at Checkers about a quarter from 2:00am yesterday. When I arrived at the speaker, I was greeted with Ronald, who asked me to take my order. When I begin to take my order, I hear laughing and him saying something in the background, and then he proceeds to ask me what I said, when I know I spoke clearly the first time. Originally, I placed my order the be a 2 for $4, add on meal, medium size with a lemonade, along with a small fry and a small lemonade. I tried ordering milkshakes and slushies with my meal, but neither was available at the time, which I find they usually are at Checkers.When I pulled around the drive through, it takes a moment for him to open the window door and tell me my total. I then ask him if he can modify the order, but tell him to recite the order from me first. He told me I order the same meal (which was correct) but said I ordered a medium fry. I initially did not order a medium fry but since I was going to change it to that, I believed that he would have the order correct. While in the middle of asking him that he placed a medium fry, he is making mocking faces at me, interrupting me during me talking to make sure the order is correct. This came off as blatantly rude and disrespectful.To add that, but when I received my food and checked it when we got home, it was a small fry and a medium fry in the bag. Not only did I pay for a medium fry, and made sure I tried to get the correct order, he is going to play games in my face and be rude and still hand me the wrong food. If I knew before driving off, I would've preferred to order a refund, just because of the way he was acting. Although Checkers happens to be my favourite fast food, I definitely won't be coming back. I feel like if Ronald took the situation serious, and was careful to be more accurate, this could've been avoided. And I'd know having been a fast food manager myself. This should not be the standard service of fast food.
Great go to for lunch. The chicken bites and fries are am awesome deal.
This place does not have inside dining. You order and pick up at the window. They do offer outside seating only n drive thru. The food is okay for a quick bite. Located on Lavista Rd and Northlake pwy. Parking is limited.
food was fine but sat in the drive through for 30+ minutes when all we ordered were fries.
There were only two guys working and my order was fast and Hot. They were nice and polite. Thanks Guys! -Ms. 305!!!
I went to get something quick and was met with an attitude. Couldn't even get a welcome or a hey...nada. I ordered a big buford and it's so cold that the cheese isn't even slightly melted. I get that it's 930pm and you're tired and you may not like your job but you never know what kind of day your customers have had either. Remember that as we come spend our money to keep your company open! Needless to say, I won't be back!
Good hot food and good fast service ..
