We had to go find someone and ask for what we needed. Waitress was not very attentive. I feel like it’s very overpriced. You ask for a bill and are told to just go to the register. Never got a print out.
Tokyo looks great at first glance until you sit down and notice how filthy the place is. The menus were sticky, the tables looked like they hadn't been wiped down in weeks, beer bottle caps on the floor, and I could go on. The cook was very friendly and definitely kept the kids entertained. The server? It was pretty rude that she told me to move because "it would be easier for the cook" when it was a 6 inch difference and meant we would have to split up our party. She looked a little overwhelmed and frustrated the whole time we were there. I have no problem paying his money for a nice meal, but this wasn't even worth $5. The appetizer came out AFTER we finished eating, everything that came off the grill was drowning in soy sauce to the point of being inedible; 2/3 of our party couldn't eat the food. I don't typically write reviews for a bad experience, but this was exceptionally terrible!
The worst experience ever. The place was so nasty we asked could they wipe the table off and the rude waitress replied “if you want me to” then she leaves and doesn’t come back. She sends the owner to wait on us. We waited almost two hours. We asked another server to come over and ask if we were next her response was “what?“ just terrible service all around. We left without eating and was charged almost $30 for soup and salad.
Can't believe they charge $1 per water. The place needs to be cleaner. The floor is so sticky and tables OMG worst. Also they add the gratuity.. I wonder why my husband told me check the itemized receipt ( It changed ). The food was so so . It should be better. The service needs to be better also,.anyway I won't go back
Way to much Soy sauce!! Unfortunately, but the quality of ingredients were fresh including the lobster.
Waited over an hour to be seated then waited an hour for the food. It tasted awful everything was soaked in soy sauce. Completely over priced and they charge for WATER!!
AVOID!!!!! One man running the place is a scam artist. He refused to give soup AND salad with entrees. He only allowed one or the other. He charged $1 for water because "pandemic." He also said it would be $3 extra to not get mushrooms in the vegetables because "it would be a custom order." He included 18% gratuity for a party of 4 when the menu states they would include the gratuity for a party of 5 or more. The cook however was very friendly and should find another job. That the place on the outside looked deserted should have been a warning sign. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!!
They did not have any sushi we was told we had to wait 45 minutes and the food tasted nasty for some reason this night and the floor was not clean they had food on floor and the floor was greases ,the yum yum sauce tasted so bad no flavor and the soup had no noodles in it not even the one they put in it ....The chef was very nice and after the chef got finished cooking before we could start eating good the dang waitress was at the door yelling ? y'all need to pay for y'all food we closing out the cash register it wasn't our fault we was late being seated...at least wait until we ate our food before you take our dang money.....she did not have the decency to come to the table to ask us just yell across the room ...
The wait was extremely long and the food was absolute garbage! Wayyyy to salty and Bill for 7 people was almost 300.00 with the added tips to the tickets. Definitely not worth the time or the money ? the wine was good
Will not eat there again.Food was NOT good . Spent 80$ for the food hat taste like spoil trash. Really not worth the money. Poor service. I Waited so long to go on our date night and then was really disappointed ?
