Great food and Beautiful set up at a friend’s wedding! Definitely recommend!!
The reviews attracted me to this place and so I decided to come during my lunch break. I called in my order and drove to the store. I went to the counter and told them my name and that I had to go order and they told me to wait... Then nothing.... So I decided to go and sit down and wait... Still nothing... They looked at me and made eye contact so I knew that they hadn't forgotten about me but no communication at all... Eventually my lunch break was starting to run out and so I had to go home empty-handed. From the time I called to the time I left the store and frustration was about 45 minutes. Some of the employees just sat around doing nothing the whole time too and they were not busy at all. Im willing to give them another chance, because the food does look very good, but i will never come here when I am in a hurry.
I came here with a group traveling from Florida to Michigan. We just randomly googled a restaurant in this exit and this place popped up. When we arrived we realized it’s in the gas station (not the big Mexican restaurant to the left.) and we are SO glad we stopped here and not the other restaurant. This food was SO good and really reasonable prices. Honestly when I do this trip again I’ll be making sure to stop off here for food again. Staff was super friendly as well!
I was skeptical of this place at first, it’s definitely a hole in the wall. The food tasted great for sure and I like the veggie/salsa bar. Authentic tacos, etc. I simply give a 3 star due to uncleanliness of the restaurant. Bathrooms were a mess, dirty tables, and the place altogether was a little run down.
I drive from Florida to Tennessee every so often and today I needed gas and this hidden gem just so happen to be at the gas station. This is the most authentic Mexican food I have had since living in California. Absolutely amazing. I got tacos Al Pastor and a steak burrito with a made from scratch watermelon juice to drink. Everything was beyond my expectations and the price and the portions are just right. Awesome value. Awesome flavor and texture. Awesome staff. This is my new pit stop every trip. I'm in love, lol.
Ordered Texas rice with shrimp and steak. Great flavor! Loved the self serve topping station! Prices can’t be beat; $13 for our meal and the watermelon drink.
Chavez brothers Taqueria serve up the best street style tacos in the Tifton area. They have a nice salsa bar where you can add salsas and veggies to your meal. The salsa bar always looks so fresh and inviting! Their guacamole is some of the best in the world. Skip the big Tex-mex chain restaurants and treat yourself to some authentic Mexican food. I bet it doesn't get much better than this south of the border!
Best Tacos in Tifton.You have to be a good Mexican restaurant in Tifton to keep up with the competition, and you have to be extremely good to be right next door to another Mexican restaurant. Hermanos Chavez is a real deal Taqueria, with a cucumber and radish bar and GOOD tacos. This place is cheap, good, simple, next door to a gas station. They also do a great job catering.If you want some straight up delicious authentic Mexican tacos this is the spot to go. Excellent, good people work here too.The food speaks for itself, give it a shot.
