Dirty tables...had to clean our own. Sick after eating for half a day. Nice lady at the cash register is the only reason for 1 star. One door opens to come in and you must exit another door that will not shut behind you. There was an in an out door from the store adjoining. Someone needs to CLEAN and REPAIR this place, and hire someone to keep it clean. Food needs to be kept at cold temps until ready to cook and bread needs to be fresh. Not a satisfied customer at all. My friend got sick as well. We will never stop there again. Walls were a mess. To go order was sitting on a table for no telling how long. Trash was on the tables with no trash can in sight. We should've left when we walked in, but we thought due to it's name the food might, just might be okay...NOT!!! Another couple walked in and immediately walked back out. SAD AND VERY TRUE.
Poor service and disgusting dining room. Staff was mostly concerned about each other’s and all their friends smoke breaks than any of the customers paying for food. The dining area didn’t look as if it had been cleaned all day. Do better Steak n Shake. The Tifton, GA location is a complete joke.
This is one time where I wish I could take stars away. I sat at a booth for 15-20 minutes and no one even asked what I wanted to drink. The young lady taking orders was too busy behind the counter texting on her phone. When I got up and walked out, she didn't even bother to look up. This is about the worst service I have seen in a while. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME STOPPING HERE.....
This is a good place to go, it's at a truck stop. And very easy in and out for truck drivers. Very fast and friendly. I was here 2 days in a row, waited under 10 min for food. It's a big difference from the steak in shake by my house.
Stopped through the get milkshakes around 10 when they close at 12. Went to the drive through 1st and sat there almost 10 minutes and no one answered. When in the inside and the 2 ladies immediately walked to back. The cook called for them and one of them said no. He asked what I wanted, and I asked for a Oreo milkshake. He said sure let me get that made for you, then someone says no again the machine is down. Then the other person says “yeah, girl im not cleaning the machine again” Very horrible service, never coming to this Steak N Shake again.
Stopped for gas at Pilot on our way back from Florida, went inside Steak and Shake to order which was a mistake...sometimes it's better not to see how things are made. Very, very dirty grill and prep area. Disgusting in fact. Staff was disinterested to say the least. The franchisee obviously pays no attention to this location...and neither does the local health department or equivalent in Georgia.
The wife and I stopped by Steak N Shake yesterday. The visit was overall great. I’m just concerned about the works they looked so tired. It was only 3 employees they were doing everything mind you i was so many other customers in here they got them out but we dined in just so we could watch. The girl taking orders was very nice and even explained a couple burgers on the menu. She alone was taking orders, running drive- thru, making shakes, even seen her on the grill. There was a tall slim guy he was fast and nice to the customers as well. My only complaint would be the big guy on the grill he was getting the burgers done fast he was just touching the raw meat with his gloves and touching bread at the same time that could be a lawsuit down the road just saying. But I will definitely be back.

Normally Steak N Shake is great. The service here was good, but I ordered two meals to go and both burgers were extremely disappointing. They were extremely dry and had no flavor of the ones I ordered. If this was my first time to them, I would never go to another one anywhere. All I can say is DISAPPOINTING DISAPPOINTING DISAPPOINTING. THE NIGHT SHIFT NEEDS TRAINING ON FOOD!!!!!!! This was at 10:50 pm and the last time I will ever stop at that location. Management please check it out.
We stopped for a burger. It was very good. It was 4:15 so we decided to get a half price milkshake. The sign outside said happy hour 1/2 price milkshakes from 2-5. The girl at the cash register said that stopped at 4:00. And the sign was old Another couple came in an ordered a 1/2 price milkshake. And one of the male employees said, yes and went to make their milkshakes. So we ask for ours. The girl again informed all of us very rudely that it stopped at 4:00 we informed her that the sign says 5:00. It’s not our problem the sign is old and they have not changed it. She then sarcastically said if it is that important to us she would let us have it. We will not stop by the tifton ga. Steak and shake again. Rude employee
