The Grande Stew (Brunswick stew over rice) was to die for. I ate it b4 I thought about a pic. I was I bit over zealous with my ordering. I ordered a BBQ sandwich which was HUGE and delicious and the Grande Stew. My wife got BBQ sandwich and Brunswick stew.The staff was super friendly and attentive. A super local business.
So good, I'm eating 2 meals! I didn't know ribs could get so tender. Pork is perfect. Sweet, mild & hot barbeque sauces are great!Great service. Family owned and operated for 26 years and the owner even took the time to ask me how I liked the BBQ.No reason to ever go to fast food when traveling I-75 by Tifton. Stopping here is my new tradition.
Stopped for lunch on our trip from Ontario to Florida along I-75. Beat the busy lunch crowd and had a very good meal. Staff were very nice.
Good food, and friendly staff. Highly recommend trying the rib tips. They are deep fried which I never had that way until trying them here. Really really good appetizer. Or big enough to have as a meal if you get a side, or two.
Oh my, well the service was great. This was my first time eating here. The woman working the register was friendly and warm. Unfortunately, that's pretty much all that was good about this place. I really wanted barbecue last night but I never would have thought that barbecue food could be so unappealing. I had a half rack of ribs, some okra and an order of chicken wings. The food was bland, flavorless and quite frustrating because of the lack of flavor. I have never eaten barbecue that was so uninspiring. I'm never stopping here again.
Amazing service by Jasmine and Clara!!! I truly enjoyed them. My party had several requests and they obliged! Given food recommendations were spot on and the food is delicious. Thank you to everyone involved that helped make our Pit-Stop enjoyable!!!
Let's talk about the food, very rich, definitely the best ribs I've ever eaten. very soft and the bbq sauces at another level. but here comes the dessert thing that the cakes of this place taste delicious. In the end we bought 4 of different flavors. and very fresh as made at the moment because each one tasted delicious. the super friendly waitress 100% recommended
Been here a few times while traveling to FL. Always good, Nice size portions of traditional slow smoked BBQ, Ribs and pulled pork had that nice smokey flavor, sauce is on the side as it should be, only negative was they don't use Brisket for their beef, seems to be a bottom round and taste like a regular roast beef, beans were some of the best I've had, overall a great experience
This place was so much better than I anticipated. We were told that it was 10x better than Longhorn's and after eating there.. I don't think that is untrue. Pit Stop was wonderful.I highly recommend the wings. We were told they are cooked in a special way and the texture and flavor proves that special nature. Perfect texture of chewy and crunchy with a smoked chicken flavor and great sauce. Soooo good.The ribs were great, the pulled pork wonderful, and the steaks were great too! I don't have anything that wasn't great. I will be back!!!
We ordered the combo BBQ platter of ribs and 1/2 chicken with two sides and fed both of us. The meat literally fell off the bones! Sauces were on the side and the sweet BBQ sauce was our favorite! The spicy baked beans and homemade coleslaw rounded out our delicious meal. The server, Carrie, was a delight and made the dining experience fun and enjoyable.
