This is…pretty awful sushi. The fish has no flavor and the grade of tuna and salmon that they use is similar to Publix. The rice is mushy / soggy and too much vinegar is used. Would not recommend coming here.
Honestly, you cannot beat this place is prices and the taste. These two things going together make this place my go to sushi spot and I don’t even live in this part of town, I live in Buford but I will gladly drive from the bottom end of flowery branch down to roll & pho or get it delivered on DoorDash because I know that it’s always going to be prepared the same way. Without failure, it is always fresh and tasty.The few times that I have dined-in, I was met with great service always.Great, hole in the wall, sushi spot.
We were seated right away. Family friendly. Or starters came out quickly and hot. Edamame, spring rolls and wake salad were all tasty. We tried about 10 different rolls and every one of them was good. My fav was the volcano roll. The rolls were 50% off which made our order reasonable. I would recommend.
Sushi taste was great! Service was great! Traffic seemed good. Maybe it was my experience that was ok but Only reason I give 3 stars is pricing. It's cheap because they put 50% off everything so if you want 1 roll or 2 it's good . But I like variety and seeing how other sushi locations have pick different ones and it comes with the soup and salad kind of beats this location in pricing. Paid almost the same and got only 1 roll and had to get a side of soup. Which is only $2 or $3 but for my satisfaction just wasn't fully there . But it is good and food taste great! Friends love it there!
Taste is so fresh! I ordered a green tea, the scallop appitizer and a sushi combo plate. Comes with miso soup. Everything was so good and again so fresh!
My family ordered a $70 sushi dinner on Mothers' Day and waited 2 hours. To our shock Uber Eats stated it was done and delivered. We called the restaurant and the manager claimed there was no order in the system. I checked my credit card and they already issued a refund indicating they cancelled the order. They're not only liars but cowards. We will never order from here again!
This is my first time eating here and this place has potential. Unfortunately I left disappointed. I was in the mood for some pho and saw their sign “Roll & Pho” and thought I’d give it a try. The positives: very clean, friendly staff with quick service, and affordable sushi rolls. The negatives: The pho was just ok. It’s clear it’s not authentic Vietnamese pho as this is a sushi restaurant so I should’ve known better but I was hopeful since the name of the restaurant has the word “pho” in it. It’s not the worst pho I’ve had but it’s not one I’d get again. It just doesn’t compete with the flavor of authentic pho restaurants especially when they did not have any chili oil which is the only way I eat pho. Second negative was my sushi roll. I got the shrimp masago roll and it was a pitiful sized roll and nothing like the pictures on their menu. The shrimp was so small you couldn’t even taste it and only tasted the eel sauce and fried tempura batter. Although the rolls are all advertised as half off, I would’ve preferred paying more money for a better quality roll with more filling. You can even see in the picture that the shrimp is not deveined. I love shrimp and when you order a roll that only has shrimp, it should be a high quality piece of shrimp that’s deveined. I saw other tables with other rolls and their rolls looked big with lots in the filling and on top so it’s prob not all their rolls. I just would never recommend the shrimp masago roll. I gave 4 stars because I don’t want to hurt a small business who’s just trying to survive. But I’m hoping this review will give them the opportunity to improve things because if I felt this way I’m sure others did as well. Would I come back to this place? Yes I would but I just know now that when they advertise half off rolls you will get half off quality rolls in portion size.
The food was very tasty, and the staff were very nice and attentive. Their prices are fantastic! My only note is that they charge a 20% gratuity no matter what the party size, and they didnt tell us about it, which i feel is a bit of a poor business practice. But aside from that, good experience.
