Very elegant dining room, and an excellent screened in patio. Attentive wait staff, tasty food, wide variety of Japanese food, and not always crowded. Extensive wine selection, and they make the sushi in sight of the dining room. Very fresh food, and they have some that is cooked, if sushi is not the thing for everyone in your party. Someone in our family has allergies, and they were able to accommodate them completely. No letdown of food quality or variety as they made sure it was safe for all.
old fish, bad service, overall disgusting
Nice place and good foods but bad service..Server had bad service. We decide not to go there.I love japanese sushi but never seen service like here.
A friend and I attempted to have dinner at Sushi Nami last night. I was excited because it was my first visit to this restaurant and what a disappointment it was. We were seated right away. We looked over the menu for about ten minutes and no server came to great us, by then another party of four were seated across from us and also waited for ten minutes and no one greeted them as well. By now, it is 20 minutes and no server. We noticed another party that came after both of us was immediately served. We decided to leave because it was obvious that our money was not welcome here. On our way out, we asked for the manager and was told that they will relate our concerns to the manager. No apology was offered. We were the only African American people on that side of the restaurant and may I also add the party of four were also non-Caucasian. No need to wonder why we were treated this way.
Attempted to have dinner at Sushi Nami with a friend last night. We were greeted and the seated immediately but no server came to our table to introduce themself or take our order. After about 10 minutes another group was seated across from us, after another 10 minutes or so a man at that table decided to go look for a server. The server was told that we had been there longer with no one taking care of us but continued to assist the table that came in after us. We also noticed another table that came in after us which was served immediately. At this point we decided there is no need in continuing to stay so we got up to leave of course we asked for the manager and was met with a comment that they would tell the manager about our experience. This was probably the most unprofessional experience I have had at a restaurant. No apology was offered. I will also add that me and my friend were the only African American people in the restaurant. You decide why we were treated this way.
Always have great experience at Sushi Nami in all 3 locations - fresh sushi, quality food, nice inside especially for Suwanee location, and good services.
Waitress was good. Food and restaurant preparedness was on par with perhaps a hotdog stand. Everything we ordered had something wrong with it or they didn’t have the completed dish as it was described in the menu. We were still charged full price no hesitation or thought of customer satisfaction. Not to mention this locations prices are higher in comparison to others. Will not be coming back and I suggest you go to Sandy Springs location if any.
excellent. Stopped in a for a quick bite at 830 PM and we were served immediately. We had two delicious rolls and mouthwatering yellow tail nigiri. Great experience. Will definitely come back!
Cocktails and food good but service really slow.
Very friendly staff. Different sushi menu. Not your typical type of sushi. The chilled duck spring rolls were interesting. Sever was very courteous and knowledgeable. Will try again in the near future.
