Decided to try this place out since it is close to home.Food quality 1/10service 5/10Restaurant style/look inside 9/10I got the pork carnitas meal. The pork was very dry on the inside and hard. Very greasy. It was not cooked fresh not sure if they advertise that it is but it definitely wasn't. (Think more of a fast food place that has all the pork meat just sitting all day in a metal pot and they just scoop the meat out and there is a thick layer of oil on the top.) service was very slow but it was busy so maybe that's why? All the Mexican places I have usually been to give you a lot of beans and rice. This has a small smearing of beans. That was the only thing I could eat since the pork was so dry. When the waitress finally came back I asked for a box for my wife's food (she did like hers) She asked if I wanted a box for mine and I kind of made a face showing that it was gross and I didn't want a box, she didn't ask me about it at all like she kind of expected the food to be sub par so that was a red flag. Overall I do not think I will try this place again.
I have always known this place to exist but never stopped in. Until recently that is and I'm very glad I did. When most places are increasing prices at the expense of quality no less, this place still has top quality food.It starts with the chips- actually solid firm and thick crispy chips. And a plethora no less as well. The sauce - I have had better but it's still pretty good. It's consistency is a little ketchup style but not bad.The food is great. I usually go with a chilie relleno. I like how they focus on the Chile va cheese, unlike others.Service can be a bit slow, but it's great.
I used to go to Monterrey for lunch frequently when I worked in Suwanee and it was always good a few years ago. A recent Saturday visit was not so great. Food and service and menu were lacking.

My husband and I went to this Mexican restaurant last night when I say the service and food was so good is an understatement. I don't really care for Mexican food because alot places don't cook authentic Mexican food. This restaurant chef ?? made this food with pure LOVE ❤️. It was delicious ?. Our server was so nice.
I have been going here every sunday since I was in my moms belly. I absolutely LOVE it here! My family is friends with the staff, the food is great, the service is amazing too! I'm so glad to have this place local to me.
Been here twice and both times it has been mediocre. Food is edible and nothing to write home about. This is a big standard Mexican restaurant that isn't anything great nor awful. Look for better options around
This placed ripped us off. BE CAREFUL GOING HERE! We ordered a smallPitcher of margaritas which said on the menu was 12.00$ And 2 grilled chicken quesadillas for 15.00$ each. We got a small pitcher and 2 shredded chicken quesadillas. We were charged for the 2 grilled chicken quesadillas instead of the shredded which were 9.00$ each. And the small margarita was 30.00$. We explained to the waitress and she just didn’t care. It’s ridiculous they would charge you for more expensive items when you didn’t get those.
Friendly atmosphere, staff was very friendly! Food is incredible, it came out in a reasonable time after having a minute to sip on a drink. Definitely will be back!
Had to run to the Suwanee post office and decided to pop in for lunch. I ordered a Speedy Gonzales: taco + enchilada. It was quick, fresh and tasty. The shredded chicken was moist and flavorful. Chips and salsa were both great. My waitress was super sweet and checked in often. Great service and great food!
