Great food! The tamales are fresh and hand made. The rice and beans are amazinglygood. Before trying them I didn't even like them. It's very clean inside and the staff is good. I only wish they were open for dinner.
Just moved to Duluth yesterday and needed to grab lunch while setting up the house. Working at mexican restaurants you know I was going to go find some tacos. We tried a lot of food and it was all great, particularly enjoyed the lengua and asada taco (their corn tortillas are top notch). Great spot for lunch, will definitely be coming back!
Food was very good. Selection is limited but that is great in the market they are catering too. Parking in the area is limited.
I am a vegetarian and finding a good tamales with veggie filling are hard to find! These are so good!
Used to be the go to spot for tamales. You would get nice size, look how small these are and it was worth the money but today made me wonder what happend to their food. This is not the Tamale House quality I was used to. I used to order party size trays of tamales but if this is what you now get I may have to find a new spot. 5 star rating now 3 star. Hope they bring it back to their orginal quality.
Thank you La Mixteca for the wonderful Vegan Tamales and the 6 more black bean and roasted veggie tamales to go. They were full of love and layers. I'm bringing more friends and family next time ❤️
Amazing, authentic tamales! I drive +30 miles to have lunch and pick up tamales for the family at least once per month. But beware...they sale out of tamales often almost always before noon, and since they don't answer the phone it's hit or miss if they will have your favorites when you arrive.
Fantastic tamales! Breakfast burrito was too big for me to finish. Food is prepared fresh, so it takes a little longer than some other places, but well worth the wait.
Great tamales, there is a lunch hour rush that may have you standing in line during the week. If you like spicy salsa get the spicy red one, it's actually spicy and delicious. The sopes are good too if you don't want all the masa. Solid rice and pinto beans.
So good! Tamales were great. Get there early, apparently they run out of stuff. They had everything I wanted but the guy in front of me was crying about them running out of stuff.
