I've been to many gopchang places. From Dallas to LA to Seattle and on. By far, this is the best place for gopchang and daechang!!! Prices are really on point compared to other places. Service is top-notch. Especially for a Korean restaurant!! And you know what I mean. So if you want to eat some really awesome food at an awesome price, come to this place.
Last night on Friday night my wife and I arrived just after 11pm and stood by the door. A female employee leaned over to talk to other two staff members and then walked up and said, we are closed. I asked if we could get something to go and she said, no. This restaurant closes at 12am on Friday nights. We arrived about an hour before closing time. A restaurant should serve guests until their closing time. If you close at 12, serve guests until 12 and prepare to be there until 1. This restaurant is not serving guests when they arrive an hour before closing time. I hope the owner of the restaurant reads this and realizes how unacceptable this behavior is. If arriving an hour before closing time isn’t early enough then what is? The employees clearly care more about what time they go home than they do about serving the guests. Even if you do want to stop the kitchen an hour before you close which is not normal in restaurant culture, at least be nice to the guests that come in. Hi, thank you so much for coming in. I’m sorry but the kitchen is closed. We’d really like to have you back another time. But this lady walked up and only said, “we are closed.” I said, “could we get something to go? She said, “No.” That’s so unprofessional. She didn’t even ask the kitchen if we could get something to go. She just said, no.” That’s it. That’s all she said.
We had large and small intestines. Large instestines are usually super greasy, however, they do a good job of rendering down the fat.Their fried rice was okay, but they do cook everything for you, which is amazing. When you order bbq, you get a complimentary stew, but it was a bit bland and not as flavorful as I expected.Overall, we really loved the bbq, but sides could be improved!
Delicious and kind but prices went up high.
Eat here all the time, would recommend to anyone.
Great food and workers are awesome.
Best gop chang in GA and pretty much anywhere else for that matter!Service can be spotty but the workers work their tail off accommodating their many customers.
I literally walked in trying to order takeout and one of the waitresses handed me a menu, And Said and I quote"this is probably not your type of food, but let me know if you still want to try it"Keep in mind I am black so I was caught off guard immediately. Like what is that supposed to even mean? was that meant to be a warm welcome?!? I Guess this was their first time seeing black people in the restaurant but I walked out and left because I refuse To support a business that perpetuates assumptions and stereotypes. I will not be returning.
Went there yesterdayAnd we ordered all mixed gobchang. It was very tasty and good amount of food too.First of allThe inside was very clean and modern stylish. The typical gobchang stores are smelly and not clean. This restaurant was super organized and clean. If u are fan of Korean grilledU need to try this
I’m from LA and I’ve even had gopchang in Korea and by far this is the best I’ve had. I dream about the flavor! The staff is so good and attentive and friendly. I’ve really become a regular and the quality never disappoints! A must try if you love gopchang!
