Where is the rest of my rice??? Did we get someone’s leftover rice??? We ordered takeout tonight and this is the rice that came with one of the dishes.
My boyfriend and I were driving home from a trip up to Charlotte when we decided to grab a bite. We were tired and hungry from being on the road, so we weren’t looking for peak food quality or anything, but regardless, this place was pleasantly surprising. The restaurant was cute and neat, and the women running it were very kind. The garlic chicken was really good! Definitely would love to have it again. I do have one minor grievance though. The second time we decided to order from here, we called for takeout. However, despite numerous attempts, our calls were not answered. Now, we called at 10:10ish, which is nearly an hour before the closing time (11 pm), so it was confusing as to why no one was answering. Do you guys stop doing take-out early? Just hoping someone can clear this up.
My wife and I wanted to try a new Korean place and this is across the street from our usual Korean place. It pretty traditional Korean Restaurant (They have the service bell) and from what I can tell is run by older Korean women. Sadly, I was hoping for so much more. The pork had fat and many of the pieces were chewy and the chicken was the same. The Gimbob was good though but that’s hard to mess up. Sadly, I wont be coming back.
Solid Korean-Chinese style cuisine as well as Korean snack food. We usually order the kkangpoongi (fried chicken) and the yangjangpi to start and supplement it with jajangmyun and jjamgbong.
Food is OUTSTANDING. It’s a Korean Chinese mix that makes it unique. I feel bad paying because it’s so cheap for so much. 11/10 would recommend to anyone.
Came here on my lunch break with a few coworkers. It was all of our first times eating here. We ordered about 5 dishes to share family style and were raving about each one we tried. The black bean noodle was so good! The mixed seafood dish was probably my favorite. But everything we ordered, I def would order again. The picture shows only 4 of the dishes before the rice cakes came out!
It was very clean and dishes were tasty!! Love the jjajangmyun & tangsuyuk! Nice place to have a casual dining with family and friends ~
Omurice was very good! Good flavor and portion are big.
Wished we still live and work in the area, would come here 2-3 times a week. Wanted to come here for the omurice and was not disappointed. The pork cutlet, jjajang myun, seafood delight and jjamppong were also delicious. Bulgogi omurice was flavorful and the sauce balance it all well. Pork cutlet was super crunchy and not dry. This was one of the better jjm I’ve had in awhile. Elly really liked the seafood dishes. Menu isn’t huge but has a great selection for almost any wants. Staff was friendly and open seating area felt comfortable.
I LOVE Dokebi's Hot wings, Sweet and Sour Beef, Rice cake with rose cream sauce which my daughter's favorite dish. You should try this place!!
