I’m rating based on my experience and understanding they are short staffed… with that being said, do NOT order for curbside pickup because you won’t get your food brought to you if they are busy… as for the food, the price of the brisket has increased but the quality has decreased! I remember when the brisket was cooked so well that the fat on it was enjoyable to eat, now its just fatty and gelatinous and the brisket doesnt taste as good. They also were out of ribs so i was forced to try something new which was the chicken leg/thigh and it was flavorless to me. Even the bbq sauce couldn’t convince me.
City BBQ is by far the best bbq I have ever had….and I have tried them all. They are always consistent and they have numerous and fabulous sides. Their customer service knows how to treat their customers. If they make an occasional mistake, they always make it right, and then some. I am always a hit at family pool side gatherings when I bring the Mother Load! 😃
If you really enjoy mediocre BBQ with little flavor this is your place. I’m sorry but this is the truth. I walked in and took a look at the menu and kinda knew this wasn’t for me. As I stared at the Menu others were walking in telling me it was so good and giving me advice on things try. I decided to go with two meat and got ribs and brisket. Ribs were very tough and I felt very animalistic eating it. After one bite of the dry brisket I had to quench my thirst with some sweet tea. On a good note I did however get free dessert for being a first timer. Seriously the only thing I could see myself wanting from this place was the corn pudding.
Quick serve restaurant where you order then take a seat. Food was good and prices are expected.Nothing spectacular but I'd eat there again for sure.
If you want the best BBQ and the best service when it comes to BBQ, you really need to try this place out. They are friendly and very generous. I don’t like restaurants that nickel and dime you for every single small item when you come back to ask for some extras.It’s my go to place when it comes to good BBQ and friendly staffs.
First Experience Was Great, Staff Was Friendly And Very Helpful. Brisket Was Tender However It’s Lacked Flavor The BBQ Sauce Made Up For The Flavor, The Bread Was Perfectly Buttered & Toasted, Veggies Sautéed, And Melty Cheese Was Great.
This is one of the best BBQ places I visited since I been in Georgia!
Ordered on a Monday night as a first time experience. Collar green and fries were good. BBQ sauces better then expected. Brisket was terribly dry. Not sure why they would servel this.
Came here for dinner recently, was not disappointed. The ribs were very tasty and just the right amount of chew. Beer could have been colder.
