Owner of this Resturant is a thief. He was trying to scam us for more then $200. We order some food, he gave us a total, next day when we went to pick up a food, price of the food went up $200.I would suggest everyone who have eat there to check their bills in details. Especially if you are coming from out of town. Anyone who use credit card there make sure to save your bill and compare it to your card statement, he will charge extra amount on your final bill without your knowledge .Also, just to let everyone know, all the tips that customer leaves goes to Owner of the Resturant not to the server.
I was a little skeptical because from the outside, it dont look that appealing. But I loved every dish. Had a lamb dish, goat curry, chicken biryani, butter chicken and naan. I think theyre great because they dont over season and overly spice everything. Custimer service was good too and they have a little bar while waiting for food to go.
I love this place, service is excellent, food is made how you like it. Mild, spicy or very spicy. Their menu has a lot of options to choose from and portions are very good to share with your party on the table. Food is very tasty not oily and greasy and made to order. I love Veena she is super friendly I can’t imagine this place without her being there. I highly recommend Bukahara one of the best Indian restaurants and it’s a locals hidden gem.
Great authentic Indian food. Gautam is a great host. Recommendation: Chicken Makhani and butter naan. Mango lassi is also good.
I absolutely love Indian cuisine, so it’s hard for me to say anything negative about an Indian restaurant. The menu offered great variety of options including noticeable markings on the menus for vegetarian options. I’m sure they have vegan options if you ask.The only thing I’d say that made me take 2 stars off is that I wasn’t satisfied with the speed of service. I know it’s not a fast food restaurant, but I came for lunch, and I was there for over an hour, even though I already knew what I wanted even before I sat down. The waiter was on the phone and didn’t come often. He apologized, but there’s no reason for a waiter to be on the phone for 10-15 minutes when there’s customers waiting. I came in 10 minutes after opening for an early lunch, but that’s no excuse for that type of service. I’m only giving 3 stars because the food was great. I might come back to give them another chance.
We order from here at least once a week. The chicken vindaloo and peshwari naan are so good, we crave it all the time!! We’re not Indian and we’ve only tried 9-10 Indian restaurants in atl, but this is by far our favorite place.Customer service has been lacking, but which restaurant isn’t these days? They need extra help, but there aren’t enough workers. I empathize with them.

I wish I could give this place negative stars!!!! 10 bite size pieces of chicken seekh kebab for $15!! And don’t get me started on the taste, awful. And the naan tasted like fried bhaturas. I have been to many Indian restaurants around here as well as across the states, this has been the worst food I have had so far. Truly Disappointed !!!!
The person sitting at the front desk is extremely rude. We ordered food through doordash for pickup and reached the restaurant at the designated pick up time. The guy said that he never received the order. He suddenly got irritated and started scolding us about getting in touch with Doordash. This is not how you manage guests when you run a restaurant. Never getting food from here again.
I would like to give this restaurant a very favorable review, because the food was excellent, but the kitchen was so slow that I can't. We were seated promptly and the water arrived right away. Then things went downhill. We ordered samosas for an appetizer. It shouldn't take more than 10 minutes or so for samosas to appear. Here it took close to half an hour. I was on the verge of throwing a few dollars on the table for my iced tea and walking out when the samosas finally arrived. They were quite good, but they came with only one condiment, where every other Indian restaurant I have ever eaten in gives you two. Then our main courses and the naan arrived, but the rice didn't, and we sat there with our entrees cooling for another five minutes before we got the rice. We really enjoyed the food, but the wait time was unacceptable, so we won't go back.
