I ordered a dinner portion of egusi without meat. Of course, the first bite tasted like meat! Upon closer inspection, there were small pieces of meat scattered throughout. They obviously just took the big pieces of meat out. These people are wicked for that!! Terrible to do that to people as they have no idea whether a person is even allergic or if the person has a spiritual basis for not eating certain meats or fish. You have lost a client and I will surely let others in my community know you are unreliable.
Nice and accommodating staff. Nice portions very tasty!!
Bro let me tell you as a white dude with a little taste for something with some heat this place is a must go if you like food with a little kick to everything they have to offer. The staff: the servers are wonderful and so patient 10/10 fully recommend this place.
If I could give this place 0 stars I WOULD . I’m not even one to get on here and Food shame, I’ll take my losses and never come back again . But this one did it , it was my first time to try the egusi & Fufu , the smell was atrocious; I stilllll gave it the Benicia of the doubt . The fufu tasted like nothing I can’t complain but that Egusi soup had to be sewer water .. nothing more , nothing less .. I couldn’t put a drop past the tip of my tongue . A waste of $20 .. the restaurant smelled not so good, but I just thought I was being “ versatile” 0/0 recommend .
Nice staff. However, I asked if I could get the egusi soup with no meat. I was told yes twice but when I got home and tried it, I swallowed meat. I don't eat meat and haven't eaten it in five years. This is so disappointing.
The food is nice no doubt but I don’t know what kind of spices or ingredients are used cos anytime I have their food I feel sick to my stomach. It’s happened more than 3 times, I even said I wouldn’t eat the food again but I guess I keep forgetting and have to pay the price later. Mind you I do eat a lot of African food and never had problem with other African restaurant foods. I had to sleep in agony last night cos I had their beans for dinner.Whatever it is or if it’s the hygiene but something has to be done cos if I had to go to the hospital cos of the food it would have turned legal. Had to toss the remaining of the food in the trash, money wasted.
Very delicious Nigeria cuisine and wonderful customer service! Nice and clean restaurant! Come early and get you a parking space! Large serving portions too!
This was my 1st experience with fufu and egusi SOUP. I think they missed the soup part because it was dry. If this is how it is supposed to look, it sure didn't taste like anything everyone else seems to enjoy. I am soooo disappointed. What do I dip my fufu in? ???
The food is so amazing! I got jollof rice ,okro soup ,Ofada and moi moi!!! And everything was perfect ! The flavor is to die for !!!!! only lil complaint i have is just a lil more quantity ??? other than that this is my new spot ???????
Ordered the egusi and it tasted and smelled bad. Meat was way too tough. Should have listened to the other reviews that said the same thing because I wasted $20. I'll stick to ordering egusi from my usual restaurant.
