You can tell when ownership has switched over to someone else. I support BOB, but we have to stop cutting corners when it's a business we have. This rink does not offer skatemates, from my understanding the kids were not using them for that purpose. So kids that actually need them, are SOL and have nothing to keep them from falling. This rink should at least have signage up so customers would know this before spending their money.
I had so much fun here with my family the one thing that got on my nerves was the fact that little kid’s kept dropping toys causing my family and me to fall. Bathroom need cleaning I was disappointed on how dirty it was. Dj needs to pause music when speaking he told us to get off and no one heard so my poor little sister got yelled at by a random man saying: get off little girl! Please fix this and for 4 minutes make people get off to clean maybe every hour because I was unhappy with the dirty stuff on the floors. Thank you!
Stone Mountain Skates (formerly All American) has maintained the vibe and feel of its former management. The new owner shows up and walks around and interacts with patrons a little more than I see as necessary. But I do not see why having a conscientious owner can be bad. Once I was there recording my son while at the same time was doing some work on my laptop that I needed to finish. He came and asked me what I was doing. Odd! I felt no need to explain but I told him anyway. He said okay and moved on. I tried to imagine what he thought I might be doing at a skating rink with a laptop. I came up with nothing. So great spot. The prices went up slightly with the new owner but still affordable. I suggest it 100%.
Good crowd DJ was perfect nice low key birthday vibe But don't get it twisted it was perfect timing for my birthday. This place gets really packed with events. I went on Sunday. I enjoyed myself.
Well, well, well...Customer service is not the owners strong suit. Its 2022 and I cant believe with how popular this place seems that the lack of communication would be the reason why 7 women that set out to have a good time would be faced with an somewhat unpleasant evening. For your information, don't plan to just show up to celebrate any adult until after hours. Also, don't expect the owner to even acknowledge you or your concerns. The most down-to-earth person was Jay at the door; she was on it. Luck to have her, she could do better.
I wanted to get back into skating because it's a great form of exercise. Does the facility need maintenance, yes? The restrooms, the skates, and the lockers all need repairs; a little TLC please. I can't speak to the food quality because we chose to eat elsewhere. There are no skate rails, no skate guards and no skate helper/assist equipment (at least I didn't see any). I digress. The DJ is very good. Some of the music played during FAMILY skate was sketchy, but overall I would give him the highest marks out of the entire experience. I have some thoughts about the FitSkate instructor, but I will reserve those for a different review. Remember your why. My why is to get back into skating, in and out. Nothing more, nothing less.
I really like this place. I have been about 5x now and I've tried the Sunday night grown folks night and it was ok but the DJ should have just played the radio. I think it was DJ Tanaka or something. Please pay attention to the rink and if no one is skating...more than likely it is a testament that your Playlist is trash.
vibes are cool but the bathrooms were disgusting and they just opened for the night. They also discontinued the help skate for kids because ppl were fighting over them just sad.

It's a pretty nice skating ring. I enjoy going there from time to time and nothing crazy goes on there. The only things that could be better is the restrooms and how everything is cleaned. When I was sitting in the cafeteria area, the chairs were dirty. The restrooms look terrible and could definitely be better. Everything else about this place is fine.
